being a shell of my former self due to becoming a complete recluse. I dont go out anymore. I avoided an old friends wedding by lying saying I had to work when really, I just havent seen them in about 15 years and I am horrified about how I look. I wouldnt be able to find anything to wear anyways and Dont have the money to find a new outfit at the fat girl store anyways. Being diagnosed with social anxiety disorder when I used to be a complete social butterfly. I had tons of friends and would go out all the time.. now the phone never rings and I am home with my fella everynight. housework going to **** because I dont have the energy or motivation to clean. Feeling like a piece of crap because of what I have done to myself. Eating because of how I feel and what I have done to myself. being 34 years old and feeling like my life is over when it should just be starting... oh man, does the list go on..

I only have to do one day of liquids the night before..

I also take abilify and cymbalta. can I bother to ask you what milligrams you take of each? thanks.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I am scared shitless and my surgery is just over a week away.

surgery got changed to sept 23rd... so nervous I could poop!

They are not on my list of no nos.

I do not have a pre op diet but my surgery is also sept 23rd.

PATS yesterday went well. less than 2 weeks and I'm going to be sitting on the losers bench...... unless I completely go insane with worry and self doubt before then which is entirely possible.

I'm so nervous that they will find something wrong tomorrow and it will prevent me from getting the surgery, help!!!

this forum has been a lifesaver for me. I couldnt imagine not having my boyfriend support me. I am very thankful that he does. as for missing the chili,, I do! I miss the mountains the most though

that was about 8 months ago. I am getting sleeved on sept 23rd. I have a pre op appt on sept 9th. I have no idea what kind of diet I am supposed to do, questions about being a smoker, weight I need to lose... nothing.. is this normal????

great story... I had this happen to me once and you would have thought that would be enough then to change my life.. it wasnt. I wasnt even aware of this surgery until last year when people at work started having it. they look and feel amazing. oh what I would give to put on a bathing suit and go on a lazy river. much less a rollercoaster. I wish you the best of luck and cannot wait for my turn as well. keep us posted.

part of me thinks that I am rushing into this even though its been a year of thinking it through. my god am I seriously going through with this? This is CRAZY!!!!

mine is sept 23rd, second guessing myself as well. I am hoping after the preop appt, that I feel better about the descision.
