    We have a Mexican restaurant near our house. They had chicken soup on the menu. The waitress said it was chicken, vegetables and a side of rice. That's when I asked for just the broth. They also had a beef soup so I guess I could of had chicken or beef broth.

    I went out to dinner my second day home with my family. I just ordered chicken broth. The waitress offered to bring me broth and vegetables. I said no thank you just the broth. Then she offered to bring me broth and chicken. Again, I said no thank you. The third time she got it. I paid $3 for a bowl of broth that I couldn't finish but it was a good feeling to be out.

    I'm so close to scheduling my appointment with my surgeon and setting a date. I really needed this post. The risks involved with surgery aren't worth the cheating. I've gained 8 lbs in the last two months. It's like the closer I get the more I obsess about food. This thread has motivated me to get on track before my pre-op diet starts. Thank you!
