    Any husband and wife sleevers?

Curious how you guys are doing. My husband is averaging almost 5 lbs a week! I'm chugging along at 3.2 lbs/week. I can see he will get to goal much faster than me although we both had almost the same amount to lose. He doesn't monitor anything either by the way. Eats Protein but there are a lot or Popsicles and whatnot going on with him, albeit sugar free, and it doesn't seem to be stopping his weight loss at all. I on the other hand monitor the crap out of everything. Seems a lot easier for him. Men! He looks so good, and is so happy. Wonderful to see him go through this journey with me.
  3. A little worried that my t-shirt is either too tight or too short for my current weight. Honest thoughts please?
  4. I'm not a grandma but my youngest son is adopted. I was supposed to be there when he was born. When the birth mom went into labor, I was on tenterhooks! I was all ready to head there and they asked me to wait. So I waited very, very impatiently. Then she had to have a c-section and he was born before I got there. But he was 1-hour old when I got to see him and it was a sweet, sweet sight. I cried
  5. hah! You posted this just as I asked how far advanced. Yay!
  6. So far advanced is the labor? Are you going to be up all night?
  7. I'm 8 weeks post op and I don't think that reality has quite caught up with me yet but I do fantasize about it for sure. Beats fantasizing about eating a piece of cake
  8. Why don't you guys make poetic rich, full liquid, savory soups instead? As good for you, full liquids, and not sweet. SO worth the 15 mins it takes to make a pot.

    Soda cause leak

I think the OP is only 2-3 weeks post op if I'm not mistaken.

    Soda cause leak

Yes I believe so. But from reading your posts, I cannot urge you enough to please, for the sake of your life and your health, please stick to your doctor's diet closely and don't take chances. I say this out of caring, and will add that you might benefit from talking to a counselor who may be able to help you with some of your post op struggles.
  11. How cool is that?! Dying to see pics once the little one is here. Sending good thoughts for all.

    October 100 Mile Challange!

I'm joining too, will be shocked if I can do 100 but I intend to do whatever I can. My name is Urvashi (rhymes with Hershey). Or you can call me by my Starbucks name which is Gracie, my dogs name. I got tired of spelling Urvashi

Unjury has a chicken soup protein mic that's excellent. Might try to order that.

Perhaps you could check with you doc to see if you csn do puréed high protein soups? If so, I have some recipes on my blog for them. I was so sick of sweet shakes I couldn't stand it. Www.sleevers.wordpress.com. Search for bisque or soup and you will find them.

    I'm Afraid of Bread...

I saw it there but it's not free shipping with prime and I have to buy six packs so I'm dithering I was hoping someone had tried it and could report back. We're currently making zucchini "noodles" and cucumber noodles with the Paderno slicer that Amazon sells so I'm not missing Pasta. What I miss is rice. I mean, I'm Asian, of course I miss rice!
