They're cool! Sounds like they'll do what you need as well.

So we don't bake them. We steam then in the microwave and then sprinkle with salt and nom them down.

So 1.6 walking and 2 miles in bike puts me at 61 miles. 1mile over my stretch goal but only because I'm so dang tired that I couldn't add and did one more mile than I needed to You can bet that if it hadn't been for the challenge, I would not have gotten on my bike at the end of a 17.5 hour work day so thank you for cheering and motivating me!

So happy for you! High five!

Zomg! Why didnt you guys tell me about thi?s?

To dehydrate or to eat? To dehydrate, probably. To eat, it depends on what else I have had that day. I do 40% protein, 40 fat, and 20 carbs so it fits into it well unless I've had a lot of other fatty stuff that day. -
Me neither. Don't trust myself. My nemesis is reeses Peanut Butter cups. All other candy, I can eat one a day and not care. I used it have an open box of Godiva chocolates in the house and my kids and I would eat one piece a night. My husband can't do that so I stopped getting it. But peanut butter cups? I can eat half a bag a day I'm sure if I let myself. My sweet, generous kids used to take all of them out if their stash and give them to me before they started eating their candy. Isn't that so nice? This year it's all theirs. I'm surprisingly okay with this. I ate my Quest bar on the plane just now for dinner and I feel fine. Who knew this was possible?

This is the first year we're not handing out candy. Not only am I still on an airplane but although my husband is home, honestly I don't want either of us around candy. We're only 3 months out and we just don't trust ourselves around it. I too didn't grow up with the tradition and find it bizarre. I always asked my kids why I couldn't just buy them the candy? Why did we have to traipse to 10000 houses to get one piece at each house?? I was told I "just didn't get it Mom!" Well I really didn't. Where I grew up it would be considered begging. But over the years, I've really enjoyed the little babies who come up to the door and marveled at their costumes. This year, we'll sit it out. Maybe next year.

I am officially kicking you off the kid's table. You don't belong here!

I'm literally going to have to get home at 10:30 pm, take off my suit and and hose and heels, and get on my stationary bike. I'm 0.6 miles short of my stretch goal and by golly, I intend to make it! Sent from my iPhone using VST

Oh perfect!n I was afraid you would be mad at me for teasing you with the bacon You know what? There's so much good stuff we can still eat, a little of it satisfies us, and we keep losing weight. Life is really good. Just wait until you heal a little and you will join the rest of us in singing your sleeve's praises. -

It is so freaking good. It's like eating bacon that's not crisp. Very salty though. I'm so thirsty now! Best thing I've eaten all day. My client has one of those super healthy cafeterias where everything is fat free and dry. I spit out my Breakfast and threw away my lunch so I was starving. I has no idea walmart had it--that's good to know! Sent from my iPhone using VST -

I love frozen edamame, steamed and salted and sometimes a dash of cayenne pepper. I love dried edamame, roasted with a little sea salt for crunch, Fiber, and Protein. http://www.amazon.com/Seapoint-Farms-Roasted-Edamame-Lightly/dp/B0094IXKME/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1381953887&sr=8-3&keywords=dried+edamame But I ADORE crunchamame! They're a little pricey but they taste so good! http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=crunchamame It's kind of like pirate booty texture--light fluffy, crunchy and enough protein and fiber in it to not feel bad about it. VERY filling. One serving is 1/2 cup and that's 90 calories. I can't finish it. Oh but I certainly plan to! so good. If you're craving salty junk food, maybe try this instead.

One to two hours to remove stitches? How many do you have? Is your support person medically trained or is it a relatively easy job?
