You know what's weird? I've always wanted a bento box. But their servings were so small I wondered if it would be enough food. Now we don't have that problem, do we? Love it.

You know what gets me? The ones who have WLS and then go on to advertise for a gym or a weight loss product. Really?!

I would like to know that as well.

At a little less than 3 months out, mine is falling out. And I already have short hair. And it's already very thin. So I'm pretty much SOL. I've been wondering about extensions but I don't know how those work when you have short hair? Does anyone know? My face is still too fat and round to cut super short, like a pixie, so I will just have to rock the semi-bald chick look with a confidence I will have to fake. -

Don't know what I thought would happen, but I guess I thought for sure I'd have mood swings after the surgery but then they would magically go away. Well, 3 months later, they haven't. Spend the last couple of days very depressed for no good reason. Seriously nothing is wrong, life is as before, all is good. My husband and children are happy and healthy, I've lost a few pitches at work but it's nothing that impacts anyone's job, nothing is wrong. I'm just depressed. Got that way a month ago and got on an anti-depressant. Worked great for weeks. Now I'm depressed again. For no reason. I would like to know--is it going to be like this while I'm losing weight? I do understand the estrogen-fat connection and if you say yes, this is how it is while we lose wright, that's okay with me. I just want to know--for you, how long did the mood swings last?

Wait. Maybe that was Butter's butt. Those puppies WERE sleeping...? -
I figure the best Vitamins are the ones I'll actually take. So I take gummies. Religiously. I look forward to them. I hate pills, have always had trouble swallowing them even before surgery. Seriously the best vitamins are the ones you take. Even if it's half a dose of vitamins compared to the caplets, at least I get something from these. The bottles of caplets I have sitting around aren't doing me any good. If you're better with pills than me of course, whole different story. Then, consumer reports says the best bang for the buck are the Kirkland/Costco generic ones, but to take the ones for seniors. They have one something in it the others don't, I forget what. They are big, but one caplet is all you need. HTH

My OB's PA had RNY 6 years ago. Lost 150 lbs and has kept it off for 6 years. She was the first one to suggest WLS to me. I had a check up today and she said that she has to live in spanx and leggings. But here's the interesting bit. She says her loose skin is better now than it was 3 years ago. So even 6 years out she's still seeing her skin improve and get tighter. She says to be patient and it gets better. Not perfect, but better. That gives me hope. -

I'm trying (not) to visualize the difference between the sleepy shar-peis and awake ones. Do I want to know?
