So I just had a lady who hardly knows me stop me and say.....you should really reconsider surgery....this is a big deal....a big change....and you look great the way you are.....WHAT DO YOU EVEN SAY TO THAT??? for that 4 minutes I really thought about what she said.....what if shes right?!?!?! Im venting of course....cause no one else understands but my sleeve buddies

day 6 of my preop diet and down 13lbs already!!!!! surgery is Thursday!!! so scared!!!

Day 3 pre op diet and feeling MUCH better!!! My Dietician called and said I could have a cup of coffee to cure my headaches! Not even 10 minutes later it was like I was CURED!!! Call your doctor if you are having terrible headaches!!!

I feel your anxiety I can not even sleep this week! Pre op is so difficulT!!!

anyone else struggling with the preop diet??? I have TERRIBLE headaches and I am STARVING! Surgery is Aug 1st and This is making me second guess my choice!!!!

So today begins the TRUE journey of the start of my new life! 3 sugar free carnation milks a day and 1 cup veggies with only clear liquids to drink! I have been reading that the first 3 days are the worst for this begining but all I can think about are the foods I crave on a daily basis. I think this will pass but what are some things everyone else is doing to pass this time by? I think my nerves are a rumbled up too, making me want to eat of course! Its so exciting and scary at the same time to be experiencing something I never thought I would be able to do! Anyone have any tips for getting through this time?

Weird. I just got my heater out at our office and put it under my desk because I was so cold!!! I am too am on the preop diet!!!

Jusme06- I am having to drink 3 sugar free carnation milks a day and 1 cup of veggies a day. Thats it :-( All the clear liquids and broth that you can stomach.

I start my preop Monday! UGH went grocery shopping and left my cart the first time. then I had to take my best friend with me the second time :-) WHat are you most nervous about? I don't have a you tube account? I was thinking about doing a blog. I have tried to add you all as friends so we can chat but it never shows you online? Anyone on facebook? Would love to have support from you all. My fiancé is rail thin and I see that being the only challenge. And our 12 year old daughter will need to eat more then baby food and protein shakes!!

Miss Cee its cool to see other young people doing this!! Abby girl- your will??? yikes so I am not the only one??? That makes me feel better. I truly think we will all be fine. Like my dietician said, its like getting married were getting cold feet!!! I am not even scafred of the diet. I am scared of the pain when I wake up!!! Im a huge baby when I am nauseous!!! I would love to follow you ladies! we can explore this journey together!1

I agree with you. But at least your doing it together. Im terrified!!! I just don't know how ill feel when i wake up!
