I also had mine in st eves. They Will put you on a luquid diet before surgery. You could start now with replasing one meal a day with a protein shake. Where you from? Do u live in boston? I go to the support groups at st eves. Feel free to contact me would be happy to help -

Doing ok. Had surg March 25th so out 5 months down close to 50lb slow but steady. Nee f2f someone to kick my butt. But I do ride my bike 5x week ir walk 5 mile. Its hard to keep at it -
