  1. I am averaging just under 675-800 calories and my surgery was on 11/12/13. I was worrying that it was too much till I read this thread. Now I feel more comfortable about it. I am losing at a steady rate and I feel really good. My diabetes meds are gone and they halved my blood pressure meds. I am eating regular food as long as it is moist and I can chew it to a pulp. It is mostly an egg or cottage cheese for Breakfast, Soup or chili for lunch and a Protein and green Beans for dinner. I also have an unsweetened applesauce for mid morning snack and a yogurt (greek) for midafternoon snack. Trying to keep my protein up. I have found that I can get in my fluids if I do it by drinking hot, decaf green tea. It also helps with the air bubbles that I was confusing with hunger! Hope some of this helps!
  2. Hello Everyone, Happy New Year! I have named my pouch Lovey because I am treating her like a newborn baby. This helps me to not force her to eat more than is comfortable. Also, with newborns, you have a period of adjustment and you learn by trial and error. This visual has helped me. Today is a snow day for me so I think I will look through my cookbooks and discover a couple of new Protein rich recipes to try this month. Have a great day!
