I have list 51lbs, half way to my goal!!!!! -
Shari- I gave lost 34lbs total including pre op diet. I hurt my back walking on a treadmill so I am building up again slowly walking 1/2 a mile now. Was doing 2 previously. I guess my body is telling me I am not 20 anymore. My NUT is still having me do a mostly soft diet. What are you eating????

When can citrus fruits be reintroduced to my diet? My sleeve was performed on 7/1/13.

Feeling great, except I had been having some nausea after eating puréed food. So I was bumped back to clear liquids. How dare you doing?

Today I was moved back to full liquids from puréed diet. Due to extreme nausea and diaphoresis with each puréed meal. Hard not to feel like I have taken a step back!!

Thank you! My surgery was 7/1/13. You are right healing is the most important.

I can't find anything to specifically give me a date for adding citrus only to avoid it due to the potential of ulcers from the acidity. I can't wait to have smoothies with real fruit and protein powder so I was just curious.

I am 6 days out and I am experiencing diarrhea for 3 days now. I was also wondering about the dairy. I am doing better with drinking but had some nausea tonight. The first nausea I have had, I wonder if it meant I ate too much?? Any thoughts? I have also noticed since I am not taking the liquid Lortab as often, I have been running a 100.4 temp pretty consistently. Anyone else running a fever??? -

I am still having pain when I drink. Though warm fluids seem to be better than cool/cold. I am not drinking near as much as the surgeon had suggested its just too painful. I will agree with you that I was not really prepared for all of this post op pain. -

I too am a July1 sleever. I had my surgery around 8:00am and went home July 2 around 1000 am. I too am sipping between naps but still having a lot of pain and gurgling with each sip. So nice to have a large July 1 group!! -
I am also 3 days post-op and I am having the exact same thing! I worry about staying hydrated.
