I just googled plication. Seems like a great option. I'm still skeptical about removing 3/4 of my stomach. Its reversible - which sounds a heck of a lot better. Got me thinking. Don't feel guilty for your choice. You did what made you feel more comfortable. As long as you achieve your goals, what does it matter which wls you went with. Enjoy the new you. Good luck. I would love to follow your weight loss journey.

Yummy protein treats! $20 off
Ms.Yvette replied to Wags's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm pre op with a closet full of post op things. I guess I'll add a few more items lol. Even if I don't go through with the surgery or I get denied, I've definitely learned a new way of eating. Me and my credit card thanks you for sharing. -

Do I have the right to ask MD.....
Ms.Yvette replied to Rainae's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is tough. Only you can truly decide how you would like to proceed with this. It definitely would concern me, but he is human. He's not void of faults just because he's a Doctor. If he's getting great reviews by his patients then that should speak for itself. I mean if he cheats on his wife, is that any of your business? We all have personal lives outside of our professions and it seems his patients are happy with the end result. How many pilots have a few drinks before take off and we still get in that plane? Just my opinion. Good luck. -

Severe migraines, what to do?
Ms.Yvette replied to Bronco0605's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm am happier than a pig in ****. I absolutely love this site. So much information and so many wonderful and caring people. I'm glad I came across this post. I've been suffering head pain/migraines and I guess I'm in the beginning stages and was wondering about NSAIDs. I'm definitely taking notes on the medications listed in the posts above. Good luck to everyone. Thanks again. -

I know your frustrations. I've been placed on a 6 months Dr. evaluation. I still have 1 more appt. to go to in Nov. then I meet with the surgeon to review my files and send them off to the insurance company for approval. SO I may not get sleeved till Jan. I was hoping for Dec. But, I just think the more time they take, the more prepared my brain thinks it has LOL. Good luck.

4 weeks post op and eating too much!
Ms.Yvette replied to ajames's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hear it's hard. But you'll get it in soon enough. It's funny because prior to surgery most people didn't worry about the scale going up lol. Good luck. -

I'm only pre op but I've read a lot of people can do this. Don't knock yourself down. You recognized that you can eat that much do now get back on track. Are you getting in all of your liquids? -

He's a damn a*****e. By law, he's supposed to give you copies of all of your records. Glad you were able to get the copies. LMAO - you must be 10 minutes away from PA or NY. Keep me posted. I'm sure you'll have smooth sailing from here. I actually go in to see my PCP today for my 5th visit and hopefully my EKG. I'll message you later tonight and let you know how it goes. -

Ms.Yvette replied to Jessica25702's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good morning Kathie. Has it worked for you? I have a lot of loose skin now and I haven't even had the surgery. Thank you. -
Sending you positive energy for a speedy recovery.

Tears of Frustration....
Ms.Yvette replied to Jerzygurl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good morning Hun. I'm so frustrated for you as well. You said the Dr. was money hungry in our last conversation. I'm wondering, once you get clearance from the new cardiologist, if there's anyway to appeal his payment. Especially since it wasn't needed. Granted, it is better to be safe than sorry, but at least if you get the needed clearance then that should be the proof to have your insurance deny his last payment (just a thought). In the meantime, don't fret. God puts things in our paths for reasons. You will soon be sleeved. *Hugs* -
Congratulations. Good going. How was your pain level on surgery day?
