I had to wait a lot longer to fulfill the requirements of the weight management program than I did for medicare! I started with the physical for weight management on June 25 and could have had surgery in mid October. I had to have lots of tests and appointments and classes in between. I am sure you will too.

I have medicare. There is no insurance required waiting period if your BMI is over 40, mine was 48.something . There is no question the sleeve is covered if you meet the criteria for comorbities or BMI.

7 weeks post op, Starting an exercising class
Bronco0605 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am a little nervous I have never really been in an exercise class. I really don't like exercising much but I know I need to. I joined the Y and I have been exercising on my own by walking on the treadmill and swimming. I don't feel like I am doing enough. What should I do to be ready for my class? Do I need anything special? No equipment is required. Should I buy workout clothes? How do I fit in? Maybe I should take geriatic chair exercise instead of the ripped exercise I signed up for I am NERVOUS! -
Oh my I am so sorry! What a shock I can't imagine what you must be going through!

The bra is a good idea I only have one that fits right now. My band size has decreased by 5-6 inches since my weightloss began. My sister advised me to get really good sports bra. I have some jogging type pants I think will work for now but they are getting too big. Maybe I will check out the thrift for something else. -

I have tried a bunch of different Vitamins and they are all just not palatable for me. I have had samples of optisourece, Celebrate and several of the Bariatric Advantage flavors and types. I just cannot tolerate any of them. I am wondering if I will be able to use Centrum chewables. are they different than the others I have tried? Are they smaller? I like the centrum flavor burst but my nutirtionist I cannot use those, she also said no gummies of any kind were acceptable.
