Today was the first day of my liquid diet, and I also had to go babysit in a home where there were sweets everywhere, it was hard but with the Lords help I made it. So I have one day down and only 12 more to go and then 1 day of clear liquids and a bowel prep then my Big Day!!! I have waited so long to be comfortable with my decision and I am so excited about my healthy future. :wub:

You may not be eating enough that will cause a headache so try to force ur fluids too.

I am new here as we'll and my surgery date is July 30th. I started my liquid diet today and with the Lords help I made it through. I was tempted so many times to eat just one little thing but I knew that would only lead to more and more. I am having my surgery done at Centennial women's Hospital by Dr. Dyer and I really have a lot of confidence in him. I've been hoping to find a surgery buddy so that we can encourage and help each other through our journeys together, so if your interested please add me.

My date is the 30th as well. I went today for the pre op class and got pre registered, so I'm all set up and ready to go. I have been very excited today and now I'm just very tired from a very busy day. I feel bed time coming early tonite.

I'm trying to find anyone who had reflux before surgery. I now take two 40mg Nexium a day.

I get my sleeve on July 30th and like you at times I am excited and at other times I'm pretty worried. I guess that's just part of it though. I haven't packed or bought anything yet.

This is the same day I am having the sleeve operation. I know what u mean about it hurrying up, don't be nervous your going to do great!!!

Try to hang in there, what do u think the reason is that your not losing this 5lbs? Is it stress, maybe you need to relax and not be so hard on your self
