Eating too much?
swanlady replied to 2ndChanceHeth's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's normal to feel uncomfortable with protein like tuna or chicken at early stages. Don't worry of stretching your sleeve. It is just so tight that you felt that and you will feel better day after day. My advice is restrict your self to 3 tbs in week 3-4 in every meal that contains tuna or chicken. Increase that to 4 tbs in week5-6 when having protein. I found that walking does help when I feel like chest tightness or food stuck. Hope you feel better soon! -

No Energy for Anything....Is this common?
swanlady replied to 4evernjgirl69's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, I was just like you. Could not walk as I felt breathless and dizzy. In the kitchen, standing up to cook my self something was exhausting, to point I had to go back and sit for few mins and return to my kitchen to complete the simplest recipe "soup". On top of that, the fear of being like this forever is just awful. Every day is better than the day before and for me it took me about 4 weeks to start feel some sort of energy coming back. Try to drink water at all times as hydration helps with the dizziness and muscle cramping. Hope you feel better soon! -
What are some symptoms/signs of you not taking your vitamins?
swanlady replied to throwaway557's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, I can assure you this is vitamins issue. I felt very tired and exhausted first two weeks after surgery because my doctor did not allow me to take any vitamin supplements. After two weeks I started taking them and felt much better after two weeks taking them regularly. Your body needs them to function properly and fatigue could be a big sign that you lack those vitamins (iron, B12 ... etc) Hope that you start taking them back and feel better ... -
You must be proud of yourself ... really great job lady 3>

Hi fitness folks, I am 2 months 23 days out. I tried to exercise "slim in 6" but could not do any moves that involve abdomen muscles because that cause pain and discomfort ... Is this normal?
