We have a lot of women's (and some men's) 2x and 3x clothes. A lot of work blouses and tops, pants, etc. Most shirts $7ppd, name brand (expensive shirts) $10ppd. -- Must buy at least 2 to cover shipping costs. Pants $8ppd -- Must buy at least 2 pairs to cover shipping costs. I will post photos later. -

We are traveling to Jamaica next week, and I am trying to think of easy things that we can pack in our luggage for meals when we are in transit or at the resort and don't want to spend an arm and a leg at the restaurants. I was thinking some Quest bars, some Protein shake packets. Anything else? What travels well? We are staying on a resort for a work trip and there is no way to get off of the resort for a grocery store. It is all inclusive, so I guess room service could help, but I am not sure. There are some planned meals/dinners and Breakfast is served everyday.

I am always on the hunt to make yummy, yet Protein packed dishes for my wife since her surgery on July 1. Tonight we are having Health Nachos before watching some football! Ingredients: - Ground turkey - Spices - Beanitos chips (4g of protein for 12 small chips, no sugar, 140 calories) - Fat free refried Beans - some fresh salsa - Fat free mexican cheese - Fat free sour cream I am assuming for her small portion, we are looking at at least 35 grams of protein. Plus it will be yummy!! I am excited for her. I think this might be a football season staple

That's a good point about the cheese and sour cream. I just looked and they dont have a TON of sugar (2g for 2 tbsp in the s.cream), but she may prefer the real thing. Thanks for the tips!

ISO Bathing Suit Top -- 22w or so
HeyJupiter posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I am looking for a blue tankini bathing suit top. I think probably around a size 22. Anyone have one? -
Hi Everyone - I hope you all don't mind me joining the forums and posting a question. My wife is in surgery right now for her sleeve procedure. I told her about this great site and the resources, but she probably won't check it out, but I assumed that since I am the one who cooks, preps meals and does a lot of the care in our house, that learning more is always good. So here's my question... If you could give some tips for the spouse of a sleeve patient during these first few weeks... what would they be? I did a lot of research on Protein shakes, meals, Vitamins, etc., but I would love some real life examples of things that helped, lessons learned or things to watch out for. Thank you all so much! I look forward to having you all teach me!

Tips for a Spouse
HeyJupiter replied to HeyJupiter's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
She is not much of a "joiner." She may lurk (maybe), but she definitely wouldn't get involved and post. She is just not into that kind of stuff. She is extremely private. -
Tips for a Spouse

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback. I will definitely be sure to make sure she is up and moving. She said she plans to take short walks as often as possible. She was crying in pre-op today getting ready for her surgery, so I am pretty sure her emotions are going to be all over the place Good to know it's totally normal.
