i am wonderin if anyone else is in the same boat as me i went for my appointment after my insurance finally is going to pay for me to have the surgery but i am too high risk for them to do it there i am wondering if anyone else has had the lapband surgery that also has cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure and there heart is pumping around 30 percent if so where did you have the surgery done and would i be better off to go to an university in my area to have it done i was also told that if i don't have something done i could die too so what do i do i am sad and confussed :thumbs_down:

i had to do that to get the insurance to pay for my surgery which was right before christmas and new years i had to gain 13 pounds and i told my dr i was doing it too but i also stayed onto my insurance i called them once a week and i called my dr to get him to stay on them so i go back to talk to the surgeon again good luck and yeah i would do it :thumbup:

hi i know that i don't post much on here but i am really here reading alot.i go on the 22 of april and talk to the surgeon well my friend went the other day and they told her that one test that has to be done is they have to run a light down you to check your stomahce for infection and stuff my question is when they do this do they put you completely asleep or just sudate you :thumbdown:

i know this might sound weird but when i get a yeast infection under my breast or stomache i use the goldbond powders i use to get a creame from the dr but it never seemed to work and one of my aunt's told me to use the gold bond powder so i did and if i use them right when it starts it never gets bad and the yeast infection is usually gone in a day or two

well i went on tuesday to talk to the surgeon about having the lapband and i had my hopes up verry high but when i got there everything went down i was taken back and weighted and i had lost a few pounds and i was very happy well when the lady started talking to me she told me that for my insurance to pay for my surgery i had to be 200 pounds over my idea body weight and i liked 13 pounds of being there i was so hurt and mad i could have screamed or died i started to cry like a baby and ask them if there was no way around with the health problems i already have i did call the dr that did the referrel to see if he could call the insurace company for me but i would not gain the weight on purpoes but you know the holidays are here and i mean not watching it would not be hard i want the surgery or i am afraid i won't be here to see my little girl grow up :help::embarassed:

lane i have umwa insurance where my father was a coal miner..and you each and everyone i am going to contact the insurance company and find out what i can but i have decided i am not giving up on this i want this more then anything

i was thinking about that bobby i am about to be single things are not working out between me and my soon to be he is letting his mommy get in the way of our relationship i mean if we have a argument he will run and tell mommy i mean i dont do that i usually don't tell anyone and keep:girl_hug: it between us because that is the way it should be but sorry for venting :whoo:

well i was in a relationship before where he cheated on me with on of his co workers so he ened up throwing me and our litle girl out so he could move her in but the relationship i am in now he has never cheated nor have i and i never cheated in the first one the nite i caught him with her i just went got my little girls things and moved out we stayed at who ever would keep us until i got our apartment but the guy i am with now we are engaged to be married and i trust him 100%:phanvan

i just wanted to say thank you i am writting thoes questions down to take with me when i go on dec the 13th and i am so excited i feel i am taking one step forward in becoming healthier and i can't wait to get the ball rolling :whoo:

i go on dec the 13th of dec to talk to the surgeon to see if i can have the lapban sugery and i was wondering what are some important questions i need to ask i have a few like how many have they performed and what is the death rate and about being put under (that is what scares me the most ) i know there is more to ask but i am writting them down in a notebook to take with me so if you could help that would be great and thank you in advance :faint:

that is going to be me when i have to start the liquid diet but you would see local crazy women in virginia holds up local taco bell and eats everything lol you made my day with that post

hi i am a newbie from va i am hoping to have the sugery sometime this winter i am going to one of the classes tomorrow nite and i hope to start the process then i am excited to start . a little about me i am 32 years old and a single mom of one and i want to be able to watch her grow up my bmi is 64 and i also have paripartum cardiomyopathy i am hoping i still can have the sugery i look forward to get to know each and everyone here

i was wondering what if you have'nt had your gallbladdar took out i have'nt had my out will they take it out during sugery
