I can eat almost anything. My hunger is the same as pre-op. I know I need a fill. I started feeling this way at 2 weeks also. Now I'm at 3, no more weight loss and still a week and a half from my first fill. I was frustrated last week but I am not anymore. Everything in good time. I don't want to hurt myself. Breathe in and out and just know this is different than any other diet....you will lose weight. My DW has lost 60lbs in the past year and hasn't dieted at all. She eats shakes, ice cream and candy bars all the time. Oh yeah...and regular Pepsi. She say's she is going to diet with me. I haven't really started to really try yet. Kinda waiting for my first fill so I won't feel so hungry. Caresa!

It's is amazing the differance in treatment the different doctors follow. But of course we should do what our individual doctors say....

Dana, you are still on clear liquids? My doc changed me to mushies last Thursday and said I could try some softer solids late this week. I'd be doing more than whining. My mood improved greatly when I could feel something in my tummy (that was good for my family). Have fun on your cruise, there will be so much more to do than eat. Caresa!

I just noticed that you commented to my journal. I am so observant. I guess this is day 13? My painful burps are pretty well gone. but the burping is not. But very controlable like before the band. I was so scared I would be burping like that at work. That would have been ssssoooo embarassing.

Feeling a little better. Can move around the house without my mouth watering like I am going to vomit. Still having painful burps. :cry :sick

I've lost 16lbs and am in a very good mood. The scale wasn't budging for a few days and I felt like I was starving myself. I didn't feel hungry but I was eating ssssoooo little and the scale wasn't moving. Oh boy it did today. :whoo:

I want to be just like Oh Juli! You are doing outstanding. There is an all lesbian camping event that happens just outside St Louis at the end of April. I would love to have lost 90lbs by then. Oh what am I saying....I'm taken. Anyway, it's a huge event....hundrend and hundreds of lesbians everywhere. Smooth ones, not harry like in Michigan. It's called NBFD = No Big F*&^ing Deal. Oh my look at me babble.....I've gone crazy.:omg: Really, I just got on the scale and lost more weight. The scale stopped for a couple of days which was very discouraging since I feel like I am starving myself...not that I am hungry just eating so little. There I go again...babble babble babble. Went back to work last Saturday. It was ok....made me very tired. No one (that didn't already know) asked me why I was eating cottage cheese for lunch. All in all everything was fine....except for the terrible sinus headache that is making my teeth hurt.:sick

I am so sorry this happened to you. You must feel so cheated and angry. If you're like me, I could never have done this without insurance coverage. Sometimes it takes an extra hoop to jump through. I was approved very quickly but DW was denied at first. Both met all requirements...same insurance company...and policy....she's on my insurance. Talk to your insurance coordinator again and see if maybe a big dramatic letter about wanting your life and health back for the sake of you family and to become a more productive member of society would help. That's what did it for DW. Good luck, keep your chin up....don't let the bastards get you down. I'll be thinking of you

no need to google....A seroma is a pocket of clear serous fluid that sometimes develops in the body after surgery. When small blood vessels are ruptured, blood plasma can seep out; inflammation caused by dying injured cells also contributes to the fluid.

That is called serous drainage. Better out than in. But be sure to call your doc in the morning. I am sure you are fine but I never want to be accused of giving bad advice.

A butt implant is someting I would never need.....baby has always had back Maybe a butt lift would be in order.

I do a sugar free carnation instant breakfast with one scoop Isopure protein shake in it. It tastes great and has about 39g protein in it.

I hope in 9 months I can say the same thing. All I can say right now is ouch, ouch and ouch. I had my gall bladder out in July and the pain was less than half of this pain. Lots of CO2 pain in my neck, a little nauseated and pain in my side. I am miserable but looking forward to feeling better. Caresa! :faint:

:faint:Home a day now. I feel like crap....crap crap crap! Co2 pain in my neck. And my left side is killing me...not lower pain like it's the port but higher...the other incision. I can't stand to take the pain medicine...yuck! So I just sleep.

I found a way not to feel so hungry. My mouth was just sweet all the time and it was driving me nutz.....even more sweet with sugar free stuff. Someone got some chicken broth packets at work yesterday. I felt better after I drank that. I was taking the noodles out of chicken noodle soup but that made me feel wasteful. So on the way home I picked up some chicken broth granules......yum-o! Well, less than 20 hours to go. Thank you all for your words of encouragement. :whoo: Caresa!

:faint: I am sssooooo hungry. These clear liquids are just not cutting it. I am in the bathroom constantly.....and I am at work....'til 7:30pm. And no one know what is going on (I didn't tell work people). I am so out of sorts. Yelled at Vicky this morning for no reason. Just feel off, and I don't think it's just hunger. Maybe I am crazy.:kiss Yesterday I just napped when I was hungry. Can't do that today. I'm charge nurse today and I am training an RN new to our unit. Gotta go don't wanna get caught on the computer.
