I go to my Chiro every 2 weeks, there is no reason why you can't go. What is your concern about going, is it because you lay stomach down?

pre-op making me crazy about taking meds
Susanne replied to gdf18's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take a large Vitamin each day , no problem. I would not worry about it after the first week or two. But, yes the first week or 2 you should crush your pills. but after that no problems. -

Hi: I live in Canada, and I was given Popcicles and Jello in the Hospital. So, I'm sure it would be fine to have these. But ensure you don't have that creme Soups etc until you have healed. You don't want to take the chance of damaging your band.........it's a risk that I'm sure no one would like to take.............becareful!

Can't get my medicines down
Susanne replied to Bamalama's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi: I take a few pills every day. I too can not crush them due to the horrible taste. I cut my pills up with a huge knife . I quarter them, this allows them to go down pretty good. I have tried to crush them into applesauce, but the taste is still horrible. -
Toasted and crust removed is the way to go. Soft Bread will stick and cause discomfort. I really like a whole wheat pita, that is something that seems to go in smooth. Chew is well.

2nd Day Pre-Op Diet-Harder Than I Thought
Susanne replied to wishmeluck13's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well consider yourself lucky that you can have some sort of food. I was on a 2 week Opti fast diet. NOTHING ELSE but Water. You can do it, I thought I was going to cheat also, but everytime I would think about it, I put a picture of myself infront of me when I was 18 and slim. No fear - it's only 2 weeks - then you will be so pround of your self. -

Susanne replied to Bobberts_Mom's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
