I was sleeved a week ago today, and the first night I vomited blood 3 times, And at least twice more while I was there. They told me it was not terribly uncommon and they continued to monitor my blood count. It was a little better once I got off of the pain pump. And they also added phenergan in between my zofran. Hope you feel better.

Im always amazed to see how much YOUNGER everyone looks after they lose the weight! You are no exception....you look 10 or more years younger then your before pics! Keep up the good work!

I know walmart has a generic brand thats pretty good. I say that because of the pina colada flavor, lol. But they are sold in a big clear bag, and pretty cheap too.

No sugar added and sugar free are different. Also the pops arent considered 'clear liquids'. I think we can just have the sf popsicles, the colored ones...not like the pudding pops.

Meeeeeee!! lol. I have my first surgeon consult today....in about an hr. I guess its different here because I am taking all my records in with me and they will schedule me out for everything before I leave today (told me to bring a calendar). Im excited! Looks like we may be on the same timeline. Good Luck! -

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! I definetly plan to keep my journey posted. Although my first appt isnt until Aug 15th...I did start my medically supervised weight loss in march with my PCP. (like I said ive been researching alot, lol) hopefully that will speed things up for me once I see the surgeon. -
Hi, Im new here but have been researching alot about the VSG for a few mths. This forum has really helped me alot in making my decision. I've read the good, the bad, the ugly, but most importantly i've read the stories of success, inspiration, and overjoyment in your NEW selves My first appt with the Surgeon is Aug 15th. I know i know...Im the very beginning of my journey but im excited and glad to have found all of you!!
