It was such a huge thrill to watch the scale keep dropping and now it hasn't moved for the past few days its such a downer and I'm trying super hard not to become depressed over it.

I jinxed it!! People asked if I stalled and I said no... Now almost a week has gone by and nothing!! I'm so upset :-( I barely eat anything at all maybe half protein shake with my morning vitamins. I drink crystal light all day long then something small for dinner. I can't stop loosing now. I have so much more to go ..,

I had barium swallow - the worst thing possible. They give u worlds nastiest stuff to drink in swallows. I had to do it three times and threw up in the middle. I'd never felt worse - that had to be the hardest part of all this for me personally

I'm in my purée/soft protein stage. I'm looking for suggestions for food that we're allowed to eat that goes with tomato sauce. I know, weird but pre surgery it was my go to. My comfort food was plain noodles and sauce, pizza - u get the idea. During pre op diet I was having spaghetti squash but I think that's too firm of a food right now. I have tried meatballs and they went down fine but I can't live on that alone.

I haven't yet... I pray it's no time soon. I don't want to get annoyed with the surgery too soon HW: 284 SW: 279 CW: 254 -30!!

I had a c-section little over a year before I was sleeved 7/8/13 in my opinion the sleeve was a walk in the park compared. I did have issues with throwing up spit my first two days but I haven't had a drop of pain meds since 7/10 two days out. I have no help (aside my hubby at night) with my one year old twin boys and I'm a full time mom. Been doing it all since this past Wednesday. You get worn out since u don't take in that many calories but I feel much more human than I thought I would.

All those who are sick of pre op liquid diet just realize the whole liquid thing continues for two weeks after surgery as well and only then do u start incorporating purées and such and very slowly adding normal chewable food into your diet. I'm almost two weeks out - was sleeved the 8th down almost 30 lbs but going seriously nuts with lack of food. I have had a bite or two of things I'm not supposed to because I'm going insane but I made sure to chew like crazy before swallowing. Meet with my nut on Tuesday see what she has to say.. Maybe I can do soft proteins ...

Just weighed myself first time post op and let me tell you did a bit of a happy dance! Down 25 lbs!! From weight before liquid pre op diet till right now!! Was so shocked scale stopped so soon.. Motivation to keep going strong ...

I'm just curious if we're sick of all these liquids and such what would happen if we started to eat small amount of regular food a week post op??

Was sleeved the eighth and finally feeling like a person again. Was regretting my choice to have it done because I was feeling as miserable as anything. Now five days post op, one night in my own bed and tons of hugs and kisses to my sons I'm feeling slightly human once again. Barely eating a thing but thank Gd all is going down and staying down. Since the barium swallow and all it's nastiness I'm so sensitive to smell and taste. Like my husband brought home the liquid codeine all I had to do was look at it and was so nauseated had to just put it away before I puked

Feeling awful! Still in hospital for at leased another day. Apparently he had to hand sew a part cuz the stapler was misfiring and that section is very narrow. Been regurgitating spit balls the whole night. I just want to be back home.. Regretting this so badly, I miss my kids like crazy.
