She likes me fat - I make her feel better about herself
Kieshart replied to Kristin1969's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
My friends stint know about the surgery but keep commenting that I shouldn't lose another pound and that my head looks too big for my body. Makes me feel like crap but I get so many compliments that I realize they are just frustrated with their own weight. Laugh it off and keep living. Lost 65 lbs since surgery July 23rd. I feel amazing! Still want to lose 20 more pounds and have surgery on a couple spots. -
Love my mirena. Tried para guard and had a tubal pregnancy with major surgery to remove the fetus and save me. Somehow convinced myself to try mirena and it's been the best decision ever!

Don't panic. Pray. Keep trying to increase your water intake. It helped when I started to add crystal light to every other water bottle. Otherwise, just relax until you heal more. God bless you honey.

I don't know much about stone conversions but I lost 65 so far and used oils and a body brush. I also put call oven powder in my shakes twice daily.

Sweet pea you look amazing! I feel like my body is super soft and saggy but overall it doesn't look hangy but it's not firm. Great job on your makeover. -
Birth Control ?'s
Kieshart replied to LuminousLife's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the copper kid and had a tubal pregnancy with it, almost died in major surgery. Very painful long periods and developed anemia while I had it. I took a chance and tried the mirena and all is well two years later. I had the mirena during surgery also. -
Dr. Ariel Ortiz at the OCC
Kieshart replied to Kindle's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I went to the OCC and as you can see by my profile picture, I loved it and loved Dr. ORtiz also. Surgery was on a Wednesday and I was back at work on Monday. No complications or real down time. I wouldn't change a thing. My starting weight was 229 and I am now 185. It's been 9 weeks. I am following the routine and have been sure to stay connected to my nutritionist. My clothing has gone from size 16/18 to size 10. I feel absolutely great. I'm here is you happen to have any questions. Inbox me anytime! -

OCC was phenomenal! Surgery July 23rd at 229 pounds. Current weight 185. I feel amazing! Yes, there is internet, but it was hit or miss while I was there. Try to get a room with a balcony. Loved it! God bless and good luck. -

I am 32, weighed in at 204 on surgery day, 5ft 10in, size 14/16, bmi 30.6. I have two kids 1 & 5 so I know about the mommy pooch. My surgery was July 24th and at this point I think it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I am losing inches and pounds but not do fast that people can figure out that I've been altered. (Lol). Loose skin is not what I would call it, I just don't feel as tight as I used to especially in the breast area. Seems like that's leaving first. I'm very proportioned also and the weight is leaving all over. I ess scared my mommy tummy would hang and look disgusting. It's not pretty but it's actually getting flat (though wrinkled). I've been wearing spanx higher power panty every day to help with evening my mid section out and they are working very well. I have felt great some day one and I'm so happy for you. Any questions anyone, inbox me anytime. Love and blessings to you all. -
Thanks. I can't stand them, but I want to do what is best for my health. Looks like I will be compressed the whole way home.

Had surgery on the 24th Wednesday. Well actually, I'm like, surgery? what surgery? I feel amazing! Every now and then a runners cramp where my lower incisions are. If I could drink normal, I would forget I had the procedure done. About to fly home from San Diego with these tight compression socks on. Can someone please tell me if I can take these things off for the flight? They are so uncomfortable under my jeans. Thanks.

The OCC and Dr Ariel Ortiz?
Kieshart replied to Vetniemeer's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
A day and a half later and the only real discomfort is the gas rising up my back and under my ribs. I have been walking, but may need to do a bit more. Ihaven't drank much either because every drinks makes the gas hurt more. Wondering how I will ever get enough fluids in? I feel ok. Ready to get this drain removed in 2 days. I go in tomorrow to get the bandages changed after my shower. I've been sleeping off and on. -

The OCC and Dr Ariel Ortiz?
Kieshart replied to Vetniemeer's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Ok, where do I begin? Picked up at 6:30am yesterday morning. Visited NUT, EKG, and blood work. Escorted to my room to put on compression socks and undress. Also got my IV put in. Had to put valium in power form under my tongue for anxiety GROSS!, Given a few other tiny cups of liquid meds. Dr. Ortiz came in, followed by Dr. So (handsome!). I met both of my nurses who took very good care of me. Then off to the OR. I was saying Our Father prayer and was out like a light. Woke up a little confused about where I was, but it seemed like I was only out for 5minutes tops. I was in my bed dozing off and on throughout the night. Ok, how do I describe how I feel? It feels kind of like the cramp you get when you run. Except it is not constant and in various places in your stomach where the incisions are. I just went to walk about 20 minutes round the hall here in he hotel. It is beautiful by the way. I have been sipping water but my last two sips made me feel nauseous so I am taking a little break. Oh, after surgery you will be loopy from the meds. I insisted on peeing on the toilet and lost my balance or fainted while in there. About 5 nurses male and female ran to my rescue, but my nurse was upset because she told me not to go. Don't be hardheaded. I was like a drunk in denial. Overall, good experience. I do believe I'll be ok to work by Monday. Any questions? -

Dr. Ariel Ortiz is in the building! Yes, I'm excited folks. After reading the story about how I wouldn't see him, (LIE), he came to my room as soon as I sat in bed. We talked for about 30 minutes and he has me super excited about this journey! I love this place. The OCC ROCKS! For those who don't know, I am in TJ and really only know it because I had to cross the border. Go figure. This place is like a little spa! -

BMI is 30.6 today and I am set to be sleeved at OCC with Dr. Ariel Ortiz. He just left my room. He said he wished more patients would look into this before hand as I am. Let's get this show on the road!
