    When I was fresh out of surgery (72 hours) it was very difficult to take in fluids. Obviously, don't force it down, but stay with it. Eventually your stomach will heal up a little bit an you'll be abcontinue drinking. Don't stress. Look for obvious signs of dehydration if you don't think you are getting enough Fluid. Keep it up! You're doing great
