Yay!!! So glad to head! I got nauseated one day, but I was half asleep, woke up because my mouth was so dry, so I went to get a sip of Water and threw up because I was lying down. You can drink in the first couple of days, just small sips. The only advice I will give is don't be lying down while drinking. Did that in hospital and threw up, but it is because of the way the stomach is shaped now and all, not because I had an issue. I had no issues with my sleeve at all. I am almost 4 months post-op and I love it. I am at the point where I can eat anything I want, obviously smaller portions. I haven't found anything that doesn't like me, but everyone is different. Yay!!! I did the same, but do not regret it one bit!!! 3 months out and I am down 65 lbs. Since last June when I started the whole process, that makes 104 lbs! Okay, so I know we are in July, BUT, today I went and got some Protein powder because I was out. I decided to try a different brand since they have a 5lb tub. It is the BodyTech brand. When I was checking out, the cashier informed me that in Sept they are going to have BOGO or BOGO 1/2 off.! Not sure if it is this brand only or all protein powders, I was blown away by what she said and forgot to ask and also shocked by the BOGO part, but thought I'd let y'all in on the secret!
