Hi sugarpop - we'll see you at the Marriott. I'm being sleeved on the 7th by Dr A Ortiz - we will arrive at the Marriott on the 6th but probably miss you...but we will look out for you on the other side. The pre-op diet is v hard and I hear you re the headaches. My nut said that's could snack n veggies (limited) when I get really hungry so that has helped the monotony...all in a good cause, right?! :-) Good luck with the surgery and let us know how you get on.

Has anyone seen the State Dept's Tavel warning to Tijuana? I'm not sure if this is recent or if there is cause for concern. Any thoughts?

I bought the Atkins shakes - are those ok to take?

Enspira - any suggestions as to which flavor and what it taste like? My pre-op paperwork says I have to buy the pre-op package from the OCC store and drink the shakes 3x p/d for 14 days. Any suggestions from other OCC sleevers?

It's is tentatively scheduled for aug 7, just waiting on conf from the Doc.
