Hang in there...I had a rough time w/ the narcotics also. I was sleeved on 9/3 as well. I really ready for the pain in my abdominal area to subside. -

Sept 3rd here..getting kinda nervous now that everything is set and insurance approval is done -
Howdy! I start my 2 week 'liquid diet' on Tuesday - scheduled for surgery Sept 3rd. Its not really a liquid diet to me. It is like 3 protein and fruit shakes per day, yogurt and fruit for lunch...and 4oz of meat & a 1/2 of potato for dinner. Like I said, not all liquid. I think it does vary from Doctor to Doctor.

I have started my process...going thru the testing now. I had a full blood panel done, which revealed that I am basically healthy. BMI is 37, so my insurance requires comorbidity. My blood pressure is consistently 125/75, which is good. My HDLs and LDLs are a little out of whack (overall cholesterol is 228 - needs to be less than 190). I met with the pulmonary specialist and have a sleep study scheduled for Mon 7/8/2013. He seems to think I may have sleep apnea. due to my neck size (17")...
