I have struggled with my weight since I was 15. I have been up and down the scale. I have two great kids that I can't live without and a boyfriend that I love having by my side. With each pregnancy that I had I packed on more weight and the most recent in 2009 is the one that added and kept on the most. I lost a set of twins at four month but kept all of the weight. I decided one day that I had enough.. it was time for me to do something for me.. so I started this journey and I am never looking back.
I started visisting my surgeon in Jan. of 2013. and over the past couple of months I have beared my soul to doctors, shrinks, and the world in hopes that in the end I will come out on top. I will have to say this was one of the hardest deciscions I have made. I knew that I wanted to be healthy and I knew that the years of diets and excersise weren't helping me. I needed to do something so that I could be happy and healthy for my kids, and most of all for me.
I know that I am what most would consider a 'lightweight' because of my BMI. But when you put 222 pound on a 5'3.5 frame it's a lot.
