Good job HG and B2B!! Keep the photos coming! Update for me: nearly 8 weeks post op and down 0.5 from 40 pounds. Means I'm 60 pounds from my personal goal. Two months and almost half way there?? I'll take it even if I'm a "slow loser" -

Nope, go ahead. -
Which is not good cause its adding more carbs to my day than Protein... But pineapple is making my body sing with enjoyment (ate 5 small cubes of it over a four hour period yesterday) I thought I was doing good on protein but carbs (mostly from fruit) are still number one, apparently I am in the market for additional tweaking. Is fruit the devil now? Should I be labeling it as just sugar and Water and not consuming it?

If memory suits me well, if traveling alone, the night you stay at occ after surgery you need to ring all your belongings with you. Do not leave them in the hotel room because when you come back they may be putting you in a different room. I never feared the safety of my belongings personally. -
Just imagine if your feet have changed so much in 2 weeks, in 6 months, what ever you buy now won't fit!

I can almost hear your bank account crying from here in Canada. Haha just kidding, congratulations!! I'm holding off on all purchases until I absolutely need to (which shouldn't be a for awhile, I have had so many dieting struggles that I have goal clothes from years and years back so I should be ok for awhile). Make sure to take a picture of whatever NSV presents you pick up

7 weeks out and a fruit addict...
MouseOnTheMile replied to MouseOnTheMile's topic in Food and Nutrition
I'm not a sugar addict luckily (at least not food wise, beverages are a weak point) so sweet fruit doesn't make me want cookies and cake. Actually I've found almost everything except fruit is too sweet these days and I water (or milk) everything down. It's more breads and potatoes that can be my Achilles heel. It's a good thing that I've also been a protein kind of girl! Love meat haha -
My Lunch: A Pictorial Attempt To Show You Life Will Be Normal

New Years Eve dinner with the family! Ordered off the steak sides menu (Seafood Oscar) and my mom gave me a bit of her prime rib. Mmmm but filling! Ate one asparagus spear, two scallops and about 35g of prime rib. Feel bad for not touching my shrimp! Oh well, lots of left overs. -

I think anyone that considers twinkies food might have a screw or two loose I eat mostly raw Proteins, beef and fish. I find raw sits a lot easier on my sleeve where cooked proteins (especially chicken) makes the discomfort come on fiercely and after only a bite. -

The acidity I think plays a role in why I like it so much haha even right out of surgery, orange juice went down easily -

Post-Surgery Brain Fog? Get your estrogen tested
MouseOnTheMile replied to gamergirl's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So true, I've definitely noticed a drop in concentration and brain power, mostly in conversations. I'll be talking and suddenly won't remember what I'm talking about. This is especially true if I'm trying to multi task. Something I could do with ease before takes lots of effort. I assumed it was due to at least dehydration, possibly also lack of nutrition. I'm 7 weeks out and 25 so maybe age is irrelevant in this instance haha -

I'm sleeved, so sorry but I have no idea what your "fills" refer to, sounds awful though! Recording today definitely showed me my brain is screwed up. I thought I was crazy over eating but in fact, MFP doesn't even have units low enough on some items for me to record the accurate amount I consumed. -

I'm sure this thread has been started before, but I can't find it anywhere!! Stupid mobile app. I have been REALLY not logging my days and my mind is starting to screw with me, I feel like I'm overrating and I'm going to stretch my sleeve immediately. I only eat to satiated (only have overdone it a couple painful times haha). Because I feel full, my brain immediately assumes I binged like I used to, where as I find I'm more of a small grazer, I'll eat a portion of protein but it'll take me all day to do it so I figure instead of playing the guessing game, I'll go back to myfitnesspal. Used it before surgery as a weight loss tool and found it very helpful, now I just need to be accountable logging every time I eat! What better motivation to stay to it than getting some forum friends on there! Anyone willin to add me? User name is: Mouse0nTheMile Note: the On is spelt with a zero, I deleted my old account but it still won't let me register with my old name haha. -
