I am having mine the 19th in Tijuana, if yours is in Tijuana and you are staying at the Marriott, we could meet in the hospital or the hotel.

Happy for you. I am having mine in Tijuana. I start my liquids on the 3rd. I will have all my pre-testing done the morning of surgery. Still hoping to find a buddy before I go that is going to Tijuana too. If not, I am sure I will meet people in the hospital walking the halls with me. Keep me posted on your progress. Hi Diana, Are you having surgery on the 19th? I thought that is what I saw. I am also. Where are you having yours? Do you have to do a liquid diet a few weeks in advance?? Just curious.

Hi Meemee, I was not given specific about shakes to drink, just protein shakes. I am starting to replace some of my meals with the Costco Kirkland Premier shakes and the whey protein powder. I tried Shakeology because it has a lot of nutrition, but had an allergic reaction. I thought I might check into the isopure for the clear liquid days. I hope you are there the same time, that would be awesome to meet someone.

I won't be there until the 18th. Would be great to know how you are doing. Hope you find a buddy. I figure when I get there, there will be others walking the halls to meet and then we will have buddies. Best of luck.

That would be awesome. Yes, it would be helpful if more people would let us know from the hospital how things are going. Then again, they are probably just trying to get through the recovery the first day and adjusting. I have never had major surgery, so I have no idea. I am hoping to not feel too bad, so I can have a little enjoyment while I am off work. Good luck.

Unfortunatly, Dr. Kelly was an additional $800.00. I had read a ton of information and even though I don't get to have Dr. Kelly, I am very comfortable with the decision I made. i konw there are many very qualified and good doctors to choose from. Honestly, if I could have afforded it, I would have gone with Alvarez. I have a friend who went to him and she has done very well. We all have to do the research and then make the choice that works best for us. Thank you westcoastlady for your concern. I am very excited to get this journey started and very happy my local Dr. is on board to do the aftercare. I am so happy for all of you who post, so that we can all be better informed. I have booked with Christy from MBC also, and she has been very prompt at returning my emails with answers to all my questions. So far, I have been impressed.

I have September 19 in Tijuana Mexico with Dr. Louisianna Valenzuela. I am super excited. It is has been a long, tiresome road and I am so happy to be able to have this gift. A great tool to help me be the healthy person that has been waiting to come out. I hope to meet some of the other sleevers in Mexico. Can't wait to see everyone's pictures and hear your stories.
