Hi everyone, I am excited to be embarking on this journey with you all. I have been heavy my whole life. Diet, exercise, thyroid medications, nothing has worked for me. I have tried everything out there. My doctor just recently recommended surgery. Even though I have sleep apnea, high blood pressure and a high BMI, my insurance will not cover me. Thanks to all of you who have gone before me, I have scheduled with Mexico Bariatric Center. My coordinator is Christy and so far, it has been a very positive experience. She has been great at answering my questions and getting all the forms and things to me to fill out. I am scheduled for surgery on September 19 with Dr. Valenzuela at Mi Doctor hospital. Hopefully, I will meet some of you there. Thanks for reading and I am so excited to start this process. I have never been thin in my whole life and can't wait. Have a good day.
