Does anyone else have issues kicking the sweets? 1 year post op and the cravings for sweets are awful?

Sorry kind of new to this thing so I'm not sure how to copy and reply. I wish it were salty over sweet. Crazy what our bodies do to us

It's been the toughest thing for me. Especially chocolate. The big 3 for me were chips, sodas and chocolate. Well chips and sodas are kicked no problem. Chocolate is still killing me. I often wonder if it's because I drink chocolate Protein shakes.....like that continued enjoyment of chocolate keeps the desire alive. Yeah it's so hard. All sweets are taking over. I feel like I need to do a sugar detox.

Oh I hear you. I would have done the same thing in that situation. I was thankful that I got the surgery before he left

Don't give up on it. I'm on the beta now and it gets alot better. :-)

I'm 8 months post op and have lost all interest in food. I'm running out of ideas because nothing tastes good. Right now I live on protein shakes, any ideas??
