Feeling a lot better. Have more energy can go a full day without a nap now. I do miss my espresso though! I am supposed to start sot foods tomorrow but my nut let me start last week since I haven't had any nausea or vomiting from anything so for. I can really feel the restriction now. Before sleeve I would have 3 scrambled eggs and 2 or 3 slices of toast but now I scrambled egg is PLENTY! I really struggle with getting enough fluids in. I am usually around 20 or 30 oz. I know that is really bad I am so busy at work its hard to sip all day. I work at a surgical center so always running around with patients. My husband reminds me at home if he sees me just sitting....he'll walk by and say drink baby! So helpful and supportive. so here are my stats so far. HW 304 Surg Wt 288 Current WT 256....32lbs since surgery and loving it. I can see a difference in my face mainly and in my stomach... I am very pear shaped. Husband says he can tell a lot more than I can. Said he can get his arms around me more! -

I stalled for about 8 days but the scale finally started moving again a few days ago. I have lost 31 lbs since surgery and I am feeling great. I just cleaned out my closet this morning of all the clothes that are getting too big and all the ones I will be swimming in come fall and winter. Gonna need all new jeans and sweaters and I love it! -

I was sleeved on July 2nd...down 27 since surgery. Feeling pretty good physically. I do get this sharp pain on my left side. It comes and goes. Probably gas.... I could give exxon and shell a run for there money with the gas I produce. I feel gross if I am not belching, I am farting. I was on clear liquids for 2 weeks. Just started full liquids on Thursday for the next two weeks, then on to mushies. Getting all my protein in. Mix GNC's whey protein unflavored into yogurt, soups and pudding. Emotionally, today was a bad day. I feel disgusting because of all the gas and the dreaded bad breath you get. I just got married March 17 so I am still a newly wed, but my husband doesn't want to be intimate. He is cautious even cuddling. Afraid he is going to hurt me. No one in his family has ever had surgery so seeing me in the hospital and the pain for the first week freaked him out. I just feel isolated. He doesn't want to eat around me so he hides in his office or goes out. His heart is in the right place but it makes me feel like a leper. I know this will all get better but it hit home today and has been rough. I live in New Orleans and last week my sister was in town with my niece from Ohio and all they wanted to do was go eat and swim. I felt so strange just sitting there with my water and watching the eat and enjoy everything. I wasn't cleared to swim until the day after they left. I felt like I missed out. I know this is all temporary and that everything will get better. Just needed to vent. My family is supportive but has no idea what this is really like. Weight loss surgery is deffinetly not the easy way out I used to think it was.

I am still on clear liquids and my Celebrate BNS protein shakes. Next Thursday I get to start full liquids, cream soups, pudding etc. I feel like my Dr is the most strict... 10 days out and still clear liquids. I am tired of sweet tasting things and chicken broth. The worst, I live around New Orleans and my sister is in town from Ohio so every night its off to a different restaurant. I just sit there with my crystal light. Tomorrow they want Chinese so I'll get wonton soup without the wonton. I know it will be worth it in the long run but this is getting tough! -

My gas pains are gone for the most part. Just have a gas bubble stuck around my neck by my shoulder I can feel it when I take a deep breath. I only got in around 6 oz all day yesterday, but I figure I had non stop IV's in the hospital so I am fine for now. Starting the 6 oz every 2 hours today of clear s/f liquids. Saturday I start the protein ENS shakes from my nutritionist mixed with water and those have all the vitamins I need daily. I find if I sit up when drinking and burp when I need to it goes down a little easier. The surgical sites are still pretty painful especially when I change positions. I am finally able to use the incentive spirometer again. I have no desire to eat or drink anything at all. I am having to force myself and my husband keeps reminding me to drink. I just keep thinking about then end result and now it will get better. -

I was sleeved yesterday around 9:30 am and I was sent home this morning around 9 am. I too had to keep getting up to pee. The pain is pretty bad around the sights. I am on liquid lortab every 6 hours but have been taking it every 5. I just can't seem to get comfortable sitting or laying. When I walk around I feel like by belly is pulling me down right now. Hope this gets better tomorrow. I know am and only 1 day out. My gas pains in the chest cavity were the worst yesterday. Here's looking forward to tomorrow!
