I haven't done this before so I thought I would post a before shot and a shot from 7 months out. 65 lbs and feeling great! I'm a slow loser and for 2 months did not lose a pound. I was one who thought I could eat anything I wanted and still lose. That is NOT the case. You can prevent yourself from losing. I went to Hawaii and drank wine like it was going out of style and ate everything sweet that came my way during Christmas and low and behold....didn't lose a pound for 2 months. The minute I started eating my Protein and drinking my Water, I started losing again. This takes work and dedication to a lifestyle change just as much as anything else. It is NOT the easy way out! Although I still can only eat VERY small portions, if I choose the wrong foods those small amounts of calories add up quickly. Honestly though, I figured at 7 months out I would be able to eat a lot more than I can but thank goodness my tummy seems as small as ever Have a great day everyone!

Has anyone stopped losing at 4 months out...for good?
Im14fun posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I am down 50 lbs, but 21 of those came in the first 3 weeks or so. I am SO nervous that 50 lbs is it for me. I only lost 8 lbs last month and about 6 inches. I am so afraid that I won't lose any more and I still have about 35 to go. I just want to know if anyone has maxed out at just 4 months out. Thank you -

Awesome everyone thank you! I don't care if it takes another year to come off, as long as it keeps coming off! I was just afraid that (even as little as I am eating) that I was all done losing. -

Rofl! 2 days ago I was watching football and felt my shin bones. I told my other half, "look honey, I have skinny shin bones! Who knew?!" Funny the little things we notice. I also notice that my feet look all skinny. Why can't that happen to my hips?! -

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. I am concerned that the more volume I lose in my face, the older I will look. Lord knows I do not want THAT to happen! I think a little Restylane or Juviderm may be in order soon

Food that fills you the most and keeps you that way for a while
Im14fun posted a topic in Food and Nutrition
I am wondering what everyone eats to feel the most satisfied. By that I mean which foods do you find fill you up and keep you feeling satisfied for long periods of time? Also, do you find that drinking water 1/2 hour or so after eating flushes foods out of your stomach, leaving you hungry again? I am trying to gauge when to drink my liquids -
TMI, I know, but I have to ask! I am usually pretty darn fresh in my va-JJ area but latey, Eeeeek Gads! There is a very unfamiliar smell coming from down yonder. Is this possibly because I am passing fat? I can't stand this but if it is because of that, then I'll just have to deal with it...but ew.

What did the sticks tell you?

Thank you for the replies! I am 7 weeks tomorrow and am down 31 lbs. My water intake is pretty good so I don't think I am dehydrated. But, that fat that I am losing has to be going somewhere, so maybe that's it? It's a catch 22 because if that is the reason, then I don't want it to stop until there is no fat left on this body of mine. On the other hand...."Ew!"

I am 6 weeks out and every time I eat, I get a 'hungry' feeling afterwards? Is this maybe gasses in my tummy instead? I am definitely not one of those who lost the hunger hormone . I am the type of person who could live without eating if I didn't feel hungry....food just isn't that huge of a deal for me (especially now) but I seem to feel hungry all of the time. If I get full (and I do) it doesn't last long. I am eating protein and trying to drink my shakes and my water but trying to figure all of that out is a pain in the butt. Anyway, I'm down almost 30 pounds and I'm happy, I just want to stop feeling hungry!
-
And I need to add, I am back in the 100's!!!! Holy Moly!

Okay, I took the gas x (well the generic version) and I feel NORMAL today!!!! OMGoodness! I am SO happy! No rumbling, no hollow empty feeling! I am down 31 lbs as of this morning and now I am very excited! Thank you so much to all of you who gave suggestions! What a difference! WoooHooo!

I went and bought Prilocect (spg) and gas x. Will let you know if it helps. That hollow grumbly feeling really sucks so I am crossing my fingers that this helps! Thank you everyone for your comments!

Funny thing is....when I manage to get in a full protein shake, I feel miserably full! But just a few minutes ago I had 2oz of meat (pastrami) very low fat, high protein, and 1 egg. I was very full and knew it because of the sneezing lol but my tummy has not shut up since and feels hungry. Hungry and grumbly. I don't feel like I have acid reflux, not in the normal sense anyway. What is ppi? I really kind of hope that is what this is!
