Yeah I know what you mean...I'm craving meat and cheese right now!!! It's been about 2 weeks since I've been on here, but finally got to eat some mashed potatoes and oatmeal. Looking forward to the chicken salad and slightly "mushy" stuff in 5 days. :cursing: 30lbs lost, 66lbs to go

Hey, had my surgery this morning and now just checking email and watching TV. Little hard to breath, but that was excepted since you liver dries out a litte from the CO2, other than that I'm able to get up and down alright and the incisions aren't too painful. If I'm feeling this good still tomorrow, I might put in half a day at work tomorrow. Yes, and it does feel lots better to walk around. Thanks! Sandra, it ain't nothing...no problems here. You'll be fine!

Sandra, hey I'm about in the same boat you are. I'm going in for surgery tomorrow and very nervous. These last couple weeks were testing for me...lots of food around but couldn't touch. Oh well...let's hang in there and just do it.

Thanks! Yes, I hope it's the hardest part. At this point I'm just looking forward to a salad tomorrow night :tea:) So, after the surgery...is the liquid diet as bad as the first week before the operation?

Alright...it's been about 6 months since I've been on here. Had to do the 6 month doctor visit for my insurance. Anyway, just started my liquid diet Wed and I'm HUNGRY! ) Surgery is scheduled for Mar 19th. Kind of nervous...all I've been thinking about is the foods I want to eat.

Hey to everyone...been out of pocket lately. However, had my first office visit yesterday and went through the hoops of body fat %, weight, etc etc etc. Just need the sleep study and psychiatric evaluation, which are already scheduled. Hopefully in the next month or 2 we cn schedule the surgery. Just not been looking forward to the pre- and postop diets.

I'm glad to hear about the pain issue. What about the port? Are you able to see it, feel it? Where is a seminar located, time, sign up? Well, hope you ladies can put up with all my questions. Just a guy needing guidance. Thanks.

Hey everyone...just wanted to touch base and find out some things. I haven't got banded yet, but after some talk with a friend I'm seriouly considering it. My friend refered me to Drs. Keilin and Hekier. How much pain, what to expect afterwards, what do I need to know before pre-op, etc, etc. Thanks
