That is exactly what I did. I now do not drink them as I am able to get what I need from food. Thank God! I was getting sick of the shakes.

I was the same way, I could only eat half of one but trust me it gets better!

Tolerated No Bubble guts scrambled

Alcohol YES please. Oh um yes I tolerate alcohol but not to the excess I was able to before sleeve. I have not touched a beer since pre surgery and never will. I now enjoy some wine a few times a week. Most I can drink in a little over a glass. I get bad headaches if I drink more than that now. Otherwise I had no issues.

In all honesty regardless you will likely feel differently after surgery about food. I could care less what we eat for thanksgiving or even if food is served. Not that I don't like T Day food but if I was told we were not doing a T-Day meal this year it would not bother me one bit. I just don't look at food in that way anymore. -

According to them you can puree your meets and such. What I did was stuck to things like yogurt and beans. At about the end of week 4 I ate some ground beef no issue. I also ate lots of cheese. I was in no way going to puree some meat or anything for that matter. -

For me with Dr. Nick week 3 was still liquid phase. On week four you start the puree stage which I believe was 3 weeks. -

Thank you for sharing. Sorry you are going through this as I just can't even imagine what it must be like. I am not at your stage yet and wonder how hard it will be to maintain but on the other hand I cant wait to get to the maintain part. I hope you are able to get this figured out with your upcoming Dr visits! -
