    My day is Thursday. I agree with the pillow. I've read a few suggest the same. I bought the GasX strips. I won't get the mess till after surgery. Best of luck to you.

    Hi Luann, Me too! I arrive to the hospital at 6 am on the 2nd for surgery at 8:30 am. I am so ready, excited and nervous. So many emotions.

    I also purchased a couple of the clear Isopure drinks. I will be trying coconut water, pineapple orange and lemonade. GNC had them on sale for $2 per bottle. They each have 40g of protein!

    I can't imagine that feeling. I am desperate to get to the other end of this surgery to experience the feeling. That sounds so terrible, but after struggling with this weight for 33 years, I want and need this. Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you so much for sharing. I am definitely sticking it out! I am so excited. So happy the weight has been steady dropping for you. I've read about so many stalls, I am ready for them, but secretly hoping that is not the case for me.

    Thanks for your response. I asked if they had samples to try first, but they didn't for the unflavored. I will be trying it today with my soup. Wish me luck.

    Thanks for your response. I've read here lots of people use the Isopure and love it. I generally enjoy most protein shakes, but opted to buy unflavored for after surgery. Thinking I could mix it into broths, yogurt and creamy soups. Luckily, GNC gives 30 days to decide if you don't like it to return.

    The hunger we feel during the pre-surgery diet, does it feel the same after surgery? Meaning is it a struggle when you smell foods and watch others eat. I am on day 11 of full liquids pre surgery. It's been tough the last two days not to take a bite out of everything I see.

    My surgeon did not require this pre-op. I've learned on this site all doctors are very different.
