It's nice to know I'm not alone. I too have sciatic nerve problems among other things. Your words have inspired me and I thank you for that. It was a nice post to read right before bed. I am like you, I do not mess with any of my perfectly functioning organs, but this body is not working and processing the way it used to and drastic times call for drastic measures. Please let me know when your date of surgery is because I would like to cheer you on as well. Sounds like you are from the UK. That would be great because I know a little cockney slang. Mine is tomorrow too . Can someone tell me what is the most important fluids to get down the first 2 days? Just water, or something with protein in it?

Welcome to the group Bellestar. I had my egd a couple days ago and it went fine. No pain afterwards at all, throat just felt a little funny , that's all.

Bless you You brightened my day. I feel that way on the inside but my thoughts get in the way. I want desperately to be healthy and not have to worry about leaving this world to young. I'm not done yet!!!! lol Thank you and have a beautiful day
