I was in on a Monday morning at 5am for surgery and discharged that Thursday late afternoon. My program has a three day stay usually for the sleeve, I stayed an extra day to consume more liquids.

*Doing well

Everything is fine. Went to Doctors today and met with doctor and results from testing look good. Problem....? Well it's stress. Turns out not only is stress bad for you as well all know, but it's very bad after having Bariatric surgery. Need to keep the stress levels down and go from there. Meet with head doctor on Monday. Hope everyone is going well.

How many sizes have you dropped?!?
rensterness posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Figured instead of counting and focusing on just the pounds we could take a look at our sizes as a way to encourage each other and motivate ourselves and others. I am a bit over three and a half months out and feeling great! Pant Size Day of Sleeve: 40 and 42 Current Size Pants: 30 Shirt Size Day of Surgery: xxl Current Shirt Size: Small -

BariatricPal Local Chapters…a New Way to Connect!
rensterness replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Would you be interested in attending regular local chapter meetings in person? Yes, without a doubt! Would you be interested in being a leader (or co-leader)? I personally would be interested in being a leader. I believe that the support groups that are in my area are very limited, and a lot of times not educational at all. The support groups in my area are most once a month with the exception of one hospital which does them weekly. I would love to start a weekly support group in my area and feel I could be very successful and have the time to dedicate towards it. Would you like BariatricPal to provide agendas for meetings? I am very good at planning and organizing and feel with a little guidance from BariatricPal I would be the perfect leader. What additional support could BariatricPal provide to encourage your participation and/or leadership? After looking online at the classes offered I would love to attend one for Leadership if the finances are available. I am a very dedicated and motivated individual. Should there be limits on the minimum and maximum numbers of members that each Local Chapter can have? The limit should be strictly based on room capacity. No one should be denied or limited unless max room capacity has reached it's limit. In that case a second support group a week would be idea. What other ideas do you have? I would like to turn my experience and knowledge from this amazing journey into a lesson for pre op and post op patients and offer them the guidance they need, which is really required with this life changing experience. -
Glad your feelin better jennie

Thanks! Lol. Tomorrow is upper GI at Albany Med and possible Scope if they can fit me in. Have appointment Friday for results. Dehydration cause weakness, lightheadedness, dry mouth, confusion and so on. If your not drinking AT LEAST 30 ounces a day your body will also go into dehydration mode. I went one day at 22 ounces and got a little tiredness and had no clue till doctor told me I was dehydrated.
