    anyone with a march date?

What kind of complication did you have? (If you don't mind me asking). Because I lost so much weight so rapidly I got the 0.02 % of getting my insides twisted, literally twisted and kinked. :/ Keeping a positive attitude though and I have NO REGRETS what so ever! Best decision I ever made! Granted I wasn't expect to have the surgery and give month post op needs to go in for revision, the journey was well worth it. Wishing everyone the best of luck and quick recoveries!!
  3. Very well said! Short and simple and 100% real!
  4. I'm very greatful that it can be fixed, if it couldn't idk what I would do. I am greatful for the success that I have had and even if I could go back in time knowing I'd be back in for surgery five months later I wouldn't take it back. This has truly been the best decision I have made with no regrets at all. Thanks for the thoughts and encouragement and will keep you posted! :-)
  5. No jealousy Yazzy, come on I have to get surgery for my success! Lol. Thanks for the prayers, make sure I'm in them Tuesday Will keep everyone updated!
  6. Thanks Sue for the best wishes and will keep you all updated come Tuesday! :-)
  7. It's very uncommon for it to happen, and something that seems to be more of a discovery from what the doctors have told me. They have a couple different procedures they are billed under such as sleeve revision, revision, sleeve revision to bypass, sleeve revision to partial, and revision to bypass. Mine is under sleeve revision to partial. They will be going in, removing my staples from my pouch, stapling it against the wall, restapling and doing some 'moving'. It is stressful to know I have to go through this, but I can truthfully say it is all worth is and I have no regrets what so ever! :-)
  8. Wishing your husband the best of luck! I bet he's excited to get the band out and get back on track! Will let you know how all goes!
  9. Thank you Dania! Means a lot to me! Will keep you posted
  10. I am five months post op and down over 110 since day of surgery! Remember though, men lose quicker then women, I know, damn is men! Lol. Please keep us updated! Look forward to hearing your progress!!!

    2nd Opinion Appointment Today

Sue, Sorry things didn't work out planned, but know that everything happens for a reason! This doctor obviously was for you and you found them I impersonable, which is an important factor. I hope your discussion with you lapband doctor goes better! Wishing you best of luck!!!

    Vomitting

I would recommend calling your surgeons office just to play it safe. Different medications are different for people after surgery. Personally I'd play it safe and call the doctor, especially if you check your temp and you have a fever.
  14. My doctors does not do a gown. Put rolls of quarters in your pocket and if gown is required place the rolls of quarters underneath your breast in a bra. There's my two cents lol

    Vomitting

Call your surgeons office, even if they are closed they have an on call. They will probably call in some anti nausea meds and see how they work, or just have you go to the ER. Also a good idea to check your temp prior to calling doctors so you can report of you have a temp. Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery. Please update
  16. Don't stress yourself over it! I lost A LOT , and did so VERY rapidly. There's such a low percentage of it happening, the last thing you need to do it worry about this. Keep up with your progress and get in all the proteins and whatever your doctor says. Congrats on your weight loss and keep up the good work!
  17. Push through those worries! :-) Your going to do great! Wishing you nothing but the best of success! Congrats on the decision to have weight loss surgery! 2muchfun's post was perfecto! Thanks for posting that for future readers as well!
  18. Your right, your not my mother and boy is that something to be proud of. If you talk to strangers this way I could only imagine how you talk and disrespect people you really know. Your pretty disrespectful and immature. I know how to read, I know how to sign papers, and I did that. AND SO DID YOU! YOU read, YOU signed, YOU chose the surgery! Just like we all did. Enjoy being ignorant.
  19. I've bad the surgery, surgery again Tuesday, I know how to read, I know how to sign my signature, I read the damn paperwork and so did everyone else that has their surgery, they know the risk, they agreed to them, they signed the paper. Simple as that. Now that I mentioned the sleeve you adding the sleeve onto your lap band comment. We all know how to read and sign the papers and agree to the surgery or not. Therefore we understand the risk of complications. This isn't some magical new complication your speaking of so I just don't see the purpose of posting about it. Taking being bored to a whole new level.

    anyone with a march date?

I am five months post op from the sleeve and down over 100 pounds since day of surgery. Due to complications with my new pouch, I am going in for revision surgery to partial bypass on Tuesday March 18th. So I guess I'm an October and a March surgery
  21. You are referring to the band and stating for everyone to rethink WLS. You should post this in the band section. We all clearly signed paperwork with risk and complications and so forth. I remember mine in one section stated there are risks associated with the surgery and some may be unknown. Well, guess what? Five months out, lost over 100 pounds and I have to go in for revision surgery Tuesday, but I'm not here telling ppl not to have WLS. I have no regrets and know what I signed up for, as should have you when you signed the paperwork. I feel your pain but I don't believe in the semantic posting warning ppl to rethink surgery. You may want to reword and repost in the band section and really watch the way you approach the matter. Best of luck to you
