Hello @@livvsmum I would welcome your wisdom as a mentor. I am 3 years post op - surgery Oct 2013. Here are my stats: SW: 246 CW: 194 (gained in the past 2 months) LW: 186 GW 140 I have been on a "stall" aka eating the wrong foods since 9 months after surgery. I have maintained a 60 pounds loss until about 2 months ago when I started gaining. I don't know what to do. I have tried pills, exercise and can't seem to get the scale to move. I would welcome your input. I know I haven't stretched my sleeve. If you could help me with meal planning or anything I would be so appreciative.

I am looking for a female mentor or buddy that lives in Louisville, KY. Hoping to chat several times a week for motivation and encouragement and possible exercise together. I've been doing this on my own for too long and think this may be what I need to kick weightloss into gear.

Do you like greek yogurt. 11 g per container. I split it up between breakfast and then maybe nighttime snack. How about Talapia fish? Refried beans? Eggs?

I got my letter on Monday! I'm really nervous and scared, but starting to think past the actual procedure.

Hi Amy I'm in Louisville and am waiting for insurance approval. I'm supposed to know by the end of the month. Have you had the surgery yet? Where are you located?

Where I go we have to pay a $300 fee for the program. We meet with a nurse, dietician and therapist on the same day and then have lifetime access to them. This is even before we know if insurance approved us or not. That's the part I done like. They say this is so they can evaluate readiness and provide education but I disagree. I was only there 2 hours - 20 minutes with a therapist. That's not enough time. . At this stage I've already gotten physician support and seen the surgeon who is on board. I can't believe your group wants a $1000.

I have seen a therapist who had been sleeved by Dr. Geller. She had a good experience and really enjoyed him and his staff. He's at Surburban also. I met with him already (a little out of order). He spent about 1.5 hours talking and answering questions. He was SO personable...didn't rush me at all. I meet with Norton Weight Management Center tomorrow at 1 and then they'll submit for insurance approval. If it's through Norton Weight Management Center - call them. There's one girl - Rita who verifies insurance and sometimes you have to light a fire. At least that's what the surgeon's office told me to do . Do you have any children? I have two - ages 13 (girl) and 15 (boy). My girl thinks it's stupid for me to do. Says I'm just lazy...What's she's really trying to say is that it scares her for me to have surgery and why can't I just get up and move? I take it for what it's worth - she's 13 and it all seems easy to her. Hope to hear from you.

I'm new to this site too and live in Louisville. I'm 45 and BMI of 41. I have been to the seminar and decided on the sleeve. I have seen a surgeon, Dr David Geller from Norton Suburbon. Wednesday I'm supposed to go for the weight management sessions. After that all paperwork is submitted to insurance. I'm so nervous about this but feel its the only option. I have tries Tina of diets and I'm sure they would work but I don't stick with it. I need the sleeve to be my 'tool' to help me change. Where are you in the process? Would love to talk more.

I haven't seen him but have seen Dr Geller with Nortons. I have a friend who was sleeves by him and had a great experience.
