Hello all, I am having serious issues, my surgery date was June 26th 2013, and I'm only down 45lbs!!!????????????????. I have a personal trainer and have been working out for over a month and still no change! I'm still not able to eat much so I know that I am not over eating. I guess I could be doing better with my liquid Protein, but could that really be the source of my problem?! Anyone that could help I would appreciate it.

Thx HealthyNewMe! I do logged my calories in my fitness pal and I barely eat half of what I am allotted for each day, not to mention what I get back from me working out ????

Yes!! I totally agree!! I enjoy feeling lighter. This just motivates me to not worry about the scale and to be an even better person!

So I am 11 weeks out on Wednesday September 18, 2013, and I recently attended a wedding, I took pics after getting dressed and finally saw a little progress so I hve decided to share! Here goes!!!

Awe!! Thx so much! My boyfriend would cringe if he heard that! Lol! I love the red lipstick on me I'm not a make person @ all but I am noticing the more I am losing the more confident I am becoming!

Thx!! I think I'm a slow loser because its not as fast as others. It's gotten so bad I rarely weigh myself now... I just let the inches fall off. 11 weeks and I've only lost abt maybe 35 lbs. but I started @ 264, and I'm 5'8. I feel great though!! I feel lighter already! Lol

Hi!! Un flavored protein by Unjury is really 98% un flavored and after u get used to it it's 100% taste free. U can't buy this protein in the stores u have to buy it online @unjury.com

I am 10 weeks out and I have been faithfully taking my B-12, and it's not working!! What B-12 are you guys taking that really works?!

I have not taken the liquid form? Does that work better? I'm getting abt 55-65 grams of protein a day. I'm required to get in 65g a day! My iron is on the low side but I'm not sluggish just desire that boost of energy that's I've been looking since after having the surgery.

I know it's not working because its supposed to hep with energy and its not. Maybe my brand is not a good brand or maybe I shld be taking the shots. Please anyone that can help with this I will be grateful

Haven't started exercising yet, yes I do eat what the nutritionist recommend. Protein is always first! :-)

Yes! Do u have a support system also? Yes the inches come off as if ur melting!! I started @ an 18 and now I'm like in a 14

Yes ma'am!! I am so excited about it too! Ready to be comfortable in my own skin!! Yes my family was sooo supportive!! My mom was my biggest supporter! I wld not hve even did it with out her support! And I'm so glad I did!

Yes! U can mix the protein with ur purée foods you just want to make sure that when u mix them the food temp is not more than 160 degrees or it won't mix well. I have not been to a group yet, but I know that there is on in Durham, u can check the website for duke.com I think and they will let u know the day and time, but I think it's only one day a month. Good luck with the purée foods!! Enjoy!

Thanks! I hve lost about 30 lbs so far! The protein that worlds best for me is Unjury, it was recommended by my nutritionist, it's a little on the expensive side but it works the best for me. I only know for it to be sold on the Unjury.com website and they ship pretty fast also. They hve large containers or packets that I can buy to try. The unflavored protein I normally drink with OJ, and like a V-8 juice. And u can almost not taste anything! I love it. That's the only thing I've used for protein. They also hve a strawberry sorbet that is pretty good also. I also have some chocolate Splenda that I haven't tried that u mix with milk, but I do the unflavored every day sometimes twice a day. Oh btw sugar free Popsicles are the best when just gettin started. Makes u feel a little normal. Congrats!! Ask me anything at anytime!! :-)
