    I am diabetic and dr immediately lowered my insulin 50% and still there 3 months and 40 lbs later. But dr thinks i will be off insulin by January, yeah!

    I was a " happy" 50 this past January . My surgery was necessary for my health and I'm glad I only have to look forward to a smaller me. I will rid of hypertension , insulin, high cholesterol , asthma,,,etc. Of course, I still have MS but I love being to do things I couldn't do before! Pre op wt 266 Sw 260 Cw 230

    I totally understand how discouraging slow loss is. But, as everyone kept telling me, hang in there. Keep doing the right things and the lbs will come off. It took me 9 weeks to get excited about loss then got discouraged again, but kept up liquids, Protein and calorie count and prayerfully the loss will continue to speed up. Hope this helps

    I'm so jealous, only lost 25 since surgery and sleeve 4/22. Maybe I should take my Nut advice to stop reading this forum. Happy for all others success.

    4/22 - sw 260 10 weeks Another 2lbs this week. Total 32 down. Guess I AM a slow loser. So today I started today on all liquid like the first week of surgery. So see how it goes! Congrats to all whom doing well and stay encouragement all!
