I'm not proud of this....but....
dinglehopper replied to HoosierGirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved in June and promised myself popcorn during first Nfl game. So yummy and didn't bother me or slowdown weight loss. So, I had it again during Monday Night Football with some Indian corn and pumpkins in it...cramps and the trots ALL night. Never again! -

How do I break through this stall?!
dinglehopper replied to dinglehopper's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am putting my trust in what you're saying! I fear I'll be the only person in history that the sleeve won't work for!! I'll add some more water today and hopefully the scale will move soon! Thanks! -
How do I break through this stall?!
dinglehopper posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am a month post op. everything is going great. I don't feel sick and I get all my water and protein daily. I lost 18 lbs the first 2 weeks and now I'm done. Am I done losing for good? Getting so discouraged! -
3weeks post op. What to eat?
dinglehopper replied to Melanie757's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Are you still losing with eating all that? -

Gotta confess. I'm 3 weeks out and had a bowl if Lucky Charms tonight. IT WAS HEAVENLY! I chewed like crazy and it went down just great. I won't do it again, but some cravings need fed or you become obsessed. -
Feeling pins & needles in legs when touched
dinglehopper replied to Pixie Dust's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have pins and needles in both my feet! It kept me up every night. I'm 3 weeks out and I had it from the start. I was borderline type 2 and now off metformin with normal blood sugar. I think it's neuropathy. My diabetic dad had it also. I started wearing magnets on my ankles and it is a thousand times better. I can barely feel it now!! Worth a try! -

Any july 8 sleevers?
dinglehopper replied to tashman's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Reading these posts make me laugh now! I'm 14 days out and I felt exactly like you guys! I didn't know what to do with my tongue! I would take a mouthful if food, chew, and spit it out. I just needed to chew and get a decent taste inu mouth. It sucked! In 2 weeks you'll feel like new. I love it now! Keep fighting, it's worth it! -
Not doing the liquid diet
dinglehopper replied to Ashlee K's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ashlee, I had a terrible time sticking to the pre op diet. If I could stick to a diet, I wouldn't have needed surgery!! Don't let these posts scare you. As long as you lose some weight, your liver will shrink. I lost 8 lbs and everything went fine. You will follow the plan post op cuz your stomach won't allow you to cheat! You will be just fine! Relax! -
I am 10 days out and I can't even remember what the pain felt like anymore. I feel fantastic! It's all for a great purpose. Take ur pain killer and wait it out. It's part of the process.

9 days post-op drinking question
dinglehopper replied to Sleeveland's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I am the same way!! I think I could eat anything! I have a 1/4 cup broth done in 3 sips then feel so unsatisfied. Someone reassured me it will be different on solids. I hope so cuz I've never felt like I was full. Protein goes easy too. I try hard to go slow as I think it can damage the staple line if we overdo. -

Oh good, thanks Brian. Everyone says they are never hungry. I keep thinking something is wrong that I haven't felt full. That's not my goal, just surprised I haven't felt uncomfortable after drinking. Hope my sleeve is tiny!!

I'm only 6 days out and I have never felt full. Only doing clear liquids, but I think I could eat a gallon on broth. I'm afraid my Dr accidentally removed my spleen cuz I'm hungry!!
