I laughed so hard I almost stop breathing. I have to admit that is a classic.

Will your stomach heal after your band was removed? Why did you not just have all of the Fluid removed, or is that not enough for the stomach to heal? Will you have another band placed?

Glad to here that you are feeling good about your weight loss. I think one of the best feeling is when you cross over the "Plus Size" line to the other side. It has been much too long since I have been able to shop on the "Regular" side. I can't wait until I get out of what my husband calls "Lunch room lady bras". Since I have not taken care of myself, I can only wear certain bras. They only come in the basic colors; white, black, and tan. So if I want to add a little color, I just buy dye. Now I have this nice royal blue bra. I hope you have many, many more days of good. Kat

Nancy, Thanks for the reply. I am so upset with everything going on with my crazy body. I am going to be on a prune and raisin diet to boost my Iron. I only need for it to increase a few points. I wonder if the reason my platelets were high because the blood work was done after I ate Taco bell. I am sure after I ate a Surpreme taco and a cholesterol fortified, Nacho Bell Grande my blood was enriched. If the surgery is canceled not only will I be out over 2,0000 bucks, but I do not know if I will have the stamina to attempt this again. I alway tell my mom and twin sister everything. I just can not tell them about this. If I tell them my mother will protest. It is killing me that I can not tell them what my true plans are. I hated to lie to them, but they think I am going on a small trip, just to get away from home. My family has enough stesses in life. I do not want them to worry about me. I am going to ponder and pray for God's will. If this should not happen, then there is a greater reason for it. Sometimes the will of the Lord is beyond our understanding. I do not think that being painfully fat is in his will either. My skin will not strech another inch. I am very glad for you Brenda. It is a great thing that you all have the fortitude to move forward when the "poop hits the fan" LOL. You all are such a wonderful support for the rest of us. Hi all, I am scheduled to get banded on Tuesday. I am really upset because my Iron levels are not at it's best. I do not know if the CBC will meet requirements. I am currently taking iron, but I do not know if that will be enough. Another thing is that my platelets are high, does anyone know what that means? All I know is that I need a bunch of prayers in order for this to work out for me. So please say a little prayer. I will not know anything until the day of surg. I hope this will not be a waste of a trip. Kat

Just curious, do you live in the Z-hills area? I noticed that you said Grossbard is doing your surgery. Is that going to be at the D.C. hospital? I live in D.C. and have been to one of his seminars. KB

That has been the question of the day. My office told me that there is a Dr. Kim in Orlando. I do not know the price, but I should know tomorrow. It all depends where you live in Florida. If you live in the south, you may not want to travel to central or north.

Hope and pray everything goes will for you. Who is your surgeon? I am suppose to get banded this Tuesday, we will be only a few days apart if everything gets approved for me. Keep us posted on your recovory. KB

I am just curious, why did you choose to have anything other than Lapband? What part of Florida do you live? Well, here's the scoop. I am going to Molding next Tueday 22nd to get banded. I can't wait. I am very worried and scared, but surgery is not new to me. This is a huge leap of faith for me. Everything in the past has failed me, or I should say I faild it. I do not understand about Andres misrepresenting himself. Can someone please explain that to me. Kat

I think you will loose the weight just fine after your fill. You have come along way so far... Do not give up! I have just joined the group today, and I am not banded yet. I am scared because I want to go to Mexico, but am afraid I will not be able to find a doc in Florida to provide fills.

I am doing some research on Lapband. Does Molding use "lapBand" or other brands? I live in Florida, and was wondering if anyone has had problems with finding a U.S. doctor to give the fills? Any info would be much appreciated.
