  1. The first on was at my preop visit at 252lbs. The bottom pic in the difference in my belly after 6 weeks post op, think that pic really shows how much I've lost in my belly area (the bad Pic was taken the night before surgery) To date I'm down to 209lbs with a goal to be in ONEderland by thanksgiving day.)

Thanks for looking, it's smAll little goals and taking it one day at a time that help me through this tough journey, no one sAid it would be easy!!!

  2. I'm 10 weeks out and I have the hiccups very often....it's not very attractive when I do it, because it sounds like it comes all the way up from the insides of my gut, and is SOOO loud, its embarrassing :( but also at the same time kinda funny! If I eat or drink a little fast I will get them!!! But hey everyone that I eat with knows I've had the sleeve and they are use to it now :)

  3. I just went through something similar. When I was told at 6 weeks I could a eat a larger range of foods' date=' I quickly fell back into the slider foods I had been eating with my band. One tip that had helped me a lot the last two weeks was to drink 12-16oz between each meal/snack. So now I get my food or snack, wait until I want a drink after eating, at that point I check the clock and add 30 minuets. So usually it's an hour after I have eaten that I start drinking. Then I have to get down the 16 oz Water bottle before I eat again. This has really cut down on the number of times I am eating. And I am really amazed that I seem to be craving less treats, and having less head hunger.[/quote']

I will try this also!! I def need to drink more! Pre surgery I was drinking around 200 oz of Fluid a day! Now between meals and waiting to drink, I'm lucky to get in 70 oz

  4. So I'm 10 weeks out (thought I was 9 on thurs, my bad) anyway since I was released to soft fork tender foods, my head has been so messed up! I've eat more carbs than I should, I have had a few things that were "fork tender" but not really on my plan!!! I HAVE NOT HAD ANY FORM of SUGAR (like cakes, muffins, cupcakes, snack cakes etc......just so we are clear!!! I have not stalled I've continued to loss weight at a steady pace, but I know it could be more! So I'm putting this out there....my head will not win this game, my body and my new sleeve will! I loss a lot more weight when I stick to mostly low carb, high protein!!! So I'm taking my cravings and I'm going to be stronger than them!!! Like I said, steady weight loss wins the game and this is not a race, but I would rather get to the finish line sooner rather than later!!!

Just my thought for the day!!!

  5. I try to stay under 40-60 carbs a day! I will eat a Greek yogurt, an egg scrambled with cheese, lunch meat and a few slices of cheese, Protein bar, Protein shake...all examples of breakfast!

lunch and or dinner...lunch meat with cheese, chicken salad, chili, chicken nuggets, any kind of meat (except steak and pork chops, not until 6 months out) pimento cheese with a few crackers, broiled fish, any kind of chicken, soft cooked veggies...I like green Beans, broccoli, etc...vegetable soup!! I can't have raw fruits or veggies until 6 months!!!

    Hope this helps

  6. Ahhh...yes...that has happened to many a pair of girls post sleeve. While my girls used to converse with my belly button they are now getting to know my kness.......sigh..... :o I try to stay positive about them and wake up every morning and rolls those little girls up and place them in my bra and they don't move for the day. The upshot is the weight is coming off and I dream of getting those girls lifted and perky :) although I probably won't. :( Keep up the great work and good luck with the girls!

Love it!!! You absolutely get it :)

  7. So I'm 9 weeks out today and I'm down 41 lbs and I think most of it came from top and a little from the stomach (it is a lot flatter) but still, so now it looks like I have these large arms still (bat wings) and these nice big thunder thighs!! But I guess I can say I'm thankful for this new waist that's reappearing!!! Maybe I will go but me a few new bras with padding!?!?! LoL I guess we can't pick where the weight comes off first!! Thumbs down :P
