  3. So what I called my "fat" bathing suits are to small this summer! (Last summer I had gotten down to a regular size 16) "fat" suits are 22w! Anyway I'm MAD AND TICKED off I let myself gain that weight back.........But I'm more than EXCITED that next summer there won't be no "fat" suits, just REGULAR size bathing suits AND I'm NEVER looking back!! My Sleeve is gonna be my warrior tool to lose this weight FOREVER!!!! Surgery date 8/8/13 (first day of the rest of my life) Kim
  4. Great job!!! You look totally AMAZING:)
  5. Several years ago I found this awesome Tommy Hilfiger dress that I just LOVED!! I bought it and hung it in my closet! After dieting many times over the years I never quite got down low enough to wear it!!! Well guess what I WILL be wearing that dress on a cruise sometime in the near future!! I get sleeved on 8/8/13, so to help pump me up I am envisioning things like this:) Kim
  6. I would say it would definitely be worth it!! You can get then altered close to the time you need them...much cheaper than getting all new suits that you prob won't wear very long!!

    "Soft Foods"

I've got 2 weeks of liquid and then 4 weeks of the puréed stage.....6 WEEKS BEFORE I CAN HAVE ANYTHING SOFT!!!
  8. So, I've done weight watchers, done the Atkins diet, counted calories, started the gym several times! I was successful each time and I lost weight!! Since 2007 I've lost 50-60 lbs like 4 times...and something comes along and I get sidetracked! I will skip a few days at the gym or I will have a couple days that I'm gonna allow myself a "cheat meal" and it becomes a big ol' snowball effect!!!!! I KNOW in heart and soul that this surgery will help me and keep me focused and honest!! I want this for myself, for my health, for my family!! It's not ALL about the number on the scale!! I want to feel healthy again, I want to be able to do so many things that are struggle for me right now!!! So how can I make this experience the change that I need for THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!

    Sleeve bible

That's what I call the guide book that my surgeons office gave me with all my info in it, for before and after surgery!!! Everything was in it, from the very first seminar to maintenance!!! Maybe that's what they were talking about also!! Did your surgeons office not give you anything like that?

    "Soft Foods"

Has anyone tried some pimento cheese on the pureed/soft food stage? I always put my homemade pimento cheese in the food processor so it's soft and smooth!!
