I have a question about diet.

I try to stay under 40-60 carbs a day! I will eat a Greek yogurt, an egg scrambled with cheese, lunch meat and a few slices of cheese, Protein bar, Protein shake...all examples of breakfast! Lunch and or dinner...lunch meat with cheese, chicken salad, chili, chicken nuggets, any kind of meat (except steak and pork chops, not until 6 months out) pimento cheese with a few crackers, broiled fish, any kind of chicken, soft cooked veggies...I like green Beans, broccoli, etc...vegetable soup!! I can't have raw fruits or veggies until 6 months!!! Hope this helps Kim

  3. Does anyone know the reason why I can't eat fresh fruits and veggies for the 6 months! I had 2 weeks of liquids, 4 weeks of puréed and then up to 6 months on soft fork tender foods with no fresh fruits no fresh veggies no steak or pork chops!! My guide book does not give me the reason for this....anyone know why!!!! Yes I can ask my nut but most people on here prob know the reason :) thx Kim
  4. I'm def gonna stick to the programs guidelines I was just wondering if anyone knew the reason for the wait! Fibrous does that mean it would be hard to digest and breakdown in our little sleeves?
  5. Yes just raw veggies, I have had lots of broccoli and green Beans cooked soft:)
  6. B-12 is not a mandatory Vitamin to take on a daily basis! I was wondering if anyone takes it as part of their vitamin regimen and how much do you take! I talked with a pharmacist and he said if you took more than your body needed you would just urinate out what your body didn't need! I bought some in hopes that it would help me with a little more energy!!! Help please!! Thanks Kim Sleeved 8/8/13 Still tired all the time :-/
  7. Somedays my sleeve is a ravenous beast that can't get enough fluids and food!! Other days like today, my sleeve doesn't want anything... Couldn't even finish 1 egg for Breakfast this morning and yesterday I think I could've eaten the side of a house!! I know that it depends on the kinds of foods I start feeding my sleeve in the mornings....example, if I eat straight Protein first thing I'm not as hungry (which is the right way to start the day) if I start with a Protein shake or yogurt, I feel hungrier sooner!! I don't think in experiencing true hunger yet, I think it may be more head hunger!!!! Kim Sleeved 8/8/13 Down 38lbs 252lbs to 214lbs
  8. I don't think mine is true hunger like I use to get pre-sleeve I think it's more like you said....it's an empty feeling!!! Head hunger is another story now!!!! Sometimes that head hunger talks REALLY, REALLY LOUD Though Kim
  9. So far this has been the hardest thing I've EVER done as far as weight loss goes!!! I am down somedays because it is hard to eat more than a few bites, some days I just want to chug Water or tea like I use to! I know I'm only 4 weeks and a few days out, but really when does it get easier???? I'm following everything I'm suppose to do.....it's just so dang hard! Wait to drink, eat this at this time, take this Vitamin 2 hrs before this vitamin....and on!!! Please some reassurance....it's been a HARD DAY!! Kim
