I've been trying out a tone of new recipes for meatballs from http://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/
It's a low carb/ gluten-free blog. Lots of flavor in all the recipes I've tried so far.

I'm in. Maybe this will help kickstart consistent exercising.

Sleeved 9/3. Finally feeling human again. Was released from the hospital today(again) after being readmitted for dehydration. New pain and nausea meds made a world of difference.

I had my sleeve on the 23rd of October 2012, weighing 249.7lbs Bmi 40
Today I weigh 148.9lbs and my Bmi is 25.5lb
Best decision I ever made!!!

Surgery was 9/3 at about 2:30 pm. The first night was kind of rough. I think mostly because I only got pain meds upon request. If I had them on a regular interval, it probably would have stayed at a more tolerable level. Even so, the pain was mostly from the gas. The incisions are tender and my entire abdomen is black and blue and sore, but not super painful. Yesterday I was able to start Clear Liquids around noon. Walked and sipped all day. Things were pretty good until I switched from iv morphine to liquid Lortab. I've had tablet Lortab many times and never had it in liquid form - turns out I'm allergic. We've got that all straightened out and I should be heading home this afternoon.

Got the ok from anesthesia to take a couple of Benadryl tonight, so hopefully I'll get some sleep.

48 hours from now I will already be sleeved! I I cannot believe its here.

I've heard that from people on and off my whole life depending on what my weight was doing at that time. I have an unbeatable answer that I guarantee you, will make them drop the topic.

I've been lurking for a while, but decided I should post since its official now. Surgery is scheduled for Sept. 3rd!
