  1. How much progress has everyone made? I know we will all lose differently but in three days I will be 4 weeks post op and have lost 27 lbs as of today including my 20 day preop diet. Is that bad???

    skinny girl panties

I am 25lbs from my goal and I refuse to buy any new clothes or panties until I reach it. Idk why I am so excited about buying skinny girl panties!!!! Maybe it's because I've always had to wear granny panties and there is nothing sexy about that lol. My poor hubby ha.The ones I have now are old with holes but I will not buy any until I can fit in the sexy ones like what I envision myself in!!

    Energy?

I ask 6 weeks post op and just within the last 2 weeks have a burst of energy that makes me not go to bed until about midnight and then I get up at 5..that's kinda frustrating but I do like the energy! I take a b12 lozenge in the morning with my Calcium and I haven't been taking my Multivitamin like I should because they make me throw up. I have recently ordered some Celebrate Vitamin so we well see how it goes.

    multivitamins = sickness ?!

Where did you buy this brand?
  8. I eat or drink my dinner around 6 and then have 2 tbsp of pb2 peanut butter about 8. It satisfies my sweet tooth.
  9. I stalled the same time as you and was so frustrated. I am at a stall now @ 6weeks and I've been walking everyday!! I have stopped weighing myself because I was getting so depressed thinking the scale should go down everyday. I know it's hard not to weigh at first because you are so excited about the loss but don't worry if it's not moving everyday. Just get your water and protein in and you will do great!
  10. you are looking great!!!! Keep up the good work :-)

    Poop problems

I was sleeved June 24th and I still don't poop. I have to take milk of magnesia to go and I usually only do that on the weekend.

    a change of period?

I was sleeved on 6/24 and started spotting during my stay at the hospital. I haven't had a cycle or cramps yet either but mine were not regular before. I had to take Lo Loestren to have them and due to the side effects of blood clots I stopped taking them 4 weeks before surgery and haven't started them back yet. I don't miss my cycle that bad lol..I kinda think our bodies are just off kilter.
  15. I am only one month out and I feel a little hunger. Because I have been training myself for 3 meals and two snacks a day at the same time, if i am running late my stomach starts letting me know FEED ME - a whole 2 bites or a few sips lol

    Graphic Pics

I had 4 small incisions about a 1/2 in long and one 1 1/2 inch incision. The Dr. used the super glue like stuff to close them and covered them with steri-strips. Those didn't stay on very long but long enough for the incisions to close up. They healed quite well and I expect this time next year they will barely be noticeable. You look awesome!!

    Almost one month out

You are doing great! 50 lbs is alot and you can definately tell!!! I wish I was at the 50 mark. I was sleeved June 24th and I have lost 30 lbs as of today. I don't feel like I have been losing as much as I can but I didn't gain it all overnight. I'm a work in progress.

    Liquid Diet

The pre-op diet does completely bite! The good thing was I lost 10 lbs while doing it. It just puts us that much closer to our goal and everytime you drink the broth remind yourself how FINE you are going to be in the following months!!

    how about decaf coffee?

I was able to have decaf coffee the day after my surgery while i was still in the hospital. I can tolerate it as well as I could before surgery. I guess it depends on what your body can handle and if your dr. says it's ok.

    june 2013 sleevers!

I know that can be so depressing but you are doing so great!! I have found it easier to make/meet small goals first. It makes the bigger goal much easier to attain in my mind.

    june 2013 sleevers!

I am doing great as far as water consumption. I get about 42 oz in. I have mostly been eating/drinking Protein shakes but I have only been consuming about 300-400 calories a day. I think my body was in starvation mode so i have upped it and have lost another pound in the last 2 days. Small victory but I didn't gain all the weight overnight so I know it won't dissappear overnight. Also, If i exercised everyday rather than only a couple days a week I know it would help alot more.

    Protein

I could not stomach the isopure. It was just nasty to me. I prefer the Unjury protein drinks or Syntrax Nectar is really good too. My Dr.'s office gave me some ideas on how to mix the Roadside Lemonade with Raspberry Crystal light or the Orange Fuzzy Navel with Orange Sunrise Crystal light. It makes it much more bearable and I couldn't even tell I was drinking a protein drink!
  24. That sounds like a little miracle worker! I will definitely be getting me one. Thanks for the great info!
