Congratulations on making a fantastic choice for your body, the animals and the planet! :wub: I work at being vegan all the time, but slip up and have dairy pretty often, too. I was wondering if I could do vegetarian or vegan post-surgery, and I'm glad to hear it's possible! Did you ever use Protein powder? If so, what kind? I know Vega is vegan, and if you get the natural flavour, it's not very sweet. I'm hoping it will work for me when I need it!

I'm really glad things went so well for you. I'm tentatively booked with Dr. Garcia for the first week in July...but I'm finding it tough to commit! What convinced you ultimately to choose Dr. Garcia?

It's so crazy...My mind was absolutely made up this morning, but this evening, I'm wobbling. For me, it's choosing the surgeon. It's between Dr. Fernando Garcia, Dr. Velanzuela, and Dr. Lopez. Honestly, I can't keep them straight in my mind anymore. How does anyone ever choose? Right now, I'm leaning toward Garcia because he can perform the surgery a week before the other two, and I want as much healing time as possible before I have to return to work. Have you done much research on florence, mooregirl? I know almost nothing about it.

I might be at Florence July 2nd....still trying to make up my mind! But I think I would be staying at the Marriot.
