Queenie-Shelle how are you feeling your day is getting closer and closer =) i feel great recovery has been pretty good for me i have started the gym on monday i did feel really tired and hurting all over but it is to be expected as the body is still recovering i have started adding more foods back into my diet like turkey ham, chicken sausages, eggs, cream of wheat, cheese, oatmeal, i can finally drink my protein shake not all but atleast 6 oz of it, i tried mashed potatoes but don't want to get too attached to it bcuz of carbs, and i made turkey meatballs which my family loves but i was actually able to eat 1 1/2 myself, boneless grilled chicken, homemade chicken soup my momma made me =) i have tolerated pretty much everything well being 4 weeks out it's gotten better i even had chilli's from Wendy's a bit spicy for my but ok. I posted a pic on sunday night of my before and now even though i'm only 4 weeks out i am loving my results already i'm not sure if you got 2 see them i hope everyone is doing great i haven't seen any update from shellbelle after the surgery i'm praying everything is well ♥♥♥ oh i have a new drink i am in love with now the O.N.E. Coconut Water it has only 45 calories and 8g sugars i just can't tolerate water like before maybe when i am further out i'll go back to being normal with just plain water which i looooooved b4 surgery but idk even putting crystal light in my water just isn't working either i find it too sweet now, we'll see what happens lol

Hi just wanted to share a pic of me at my heaviest which was 250lbs and now that i am almost 4 weeks post-op it has been hard work from the start of the whole wls alot of getting used to after surgery but i am just sooo happy with my results so far i just pray it keeps getting better i feel healthier already i don't have pain in my knees or my achilles tendons, my pcos seems to be getting better already i just want to say hard work pays off 100% i will finally be starting the gym again tomorrow yeyyy i am 1 pound away from being out of the 2 hundreds that itself is such an acomplishment and an amazing feeling i haven't been under the 200's for over 13 years wow anyways best wishes to all pre-op and post-op sleevers as for me i will continue to work hard to reach my goal it hasn't been perfect i have had my bumps already but seeing these results just motivates me and i know later on i will look back and see it was all worth it [ATTACH]19299[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]19300[/ATTACH]

Aww thanks =) i'm glad i am able to inspire others like i said i'm almost a month post-op so i still have alot to go this is just the beginning my goal weight is atleast 150 but my numbers are HW 250 SW 227 CW 200

Thank you i am absolutely happy excited 2 see what it will be like to be in the hundreds and wear smaller size clothing most of my clothing is already big on me and some shoes 2 which is exciting i am a shoe lover lol so i can't wait, now that fall is here to be able to buy some beautiful boots for winter ♥♥♥

I am 3 weeks out and this strep-throat is kicking my butt ....grrrrr...i am sooo upset i have never had strep like this before i am on 3 different antibiotics 2 for the H. Pylori they found when i had the surgery and 1 for the strep and none seem to be helping at all with the strep every single day my throat hurts even more i barely can even swallow my own saliva sorry if tmi and my throat just looks more swollen and red i have no taste at all!!! I think i will be visiting my doc again tomorrow i can't take it anymore i even had to stop 1 of the antibiotics for the H. Pylori because its a HUGE tablet and i can't swallow it (( sorry i just need 2 vent idk whats going on but since surgery i feel like my oral health has taken a toll my gums bleed sometimes i've gotten sores in my mouth on my tongue and now the strep could it be from surgery? I was perfectly fine before surgery :/ again sorry if tmi

Aww soo sorry that it's taking sooo long but like you said you are sooo close so hang in there you will be telling us about your surgery date very soon you'll see =) it' ok 2 vent thats why we are here 2 support each other ....trust me i too had 2 vent yesterday hehe \●/

I am 3 weeks post op and i have been at a stall for almost 2 weeks it makes me wonder if i am going 2 loose anymore sometimes :/ hopefully it picks up soon its making me nervous

So i went 2 see my PCP and sure enough she said i had one of the worst cases of thrush she has ever seen she said it is very bad so i have to stop all antibiotics for now i have to call my surgeon to let him know because he put me on the antibiotics for the h.pylori so my doc says hopefully the h.pylori cleared up with that 1 week i took of the meds if not i'll have 2 start the treatment again after i feel better but as long as i get better from this thrush right now its all that matters 2 me i was on 2000mg of amoxicillan, 1000mg of clarythromycin, and 250mg Zythromycin, so a total of 3250mg of antibiotics daily waaaaayyy 2 much my doc said that is what caused my strep 2 turn into thrush.

I had 6 insicions as well 1 for the drain and the rest were from the surgery

I was also tested b4 surgery as well but my surgeon said nothing showed up on my preop testing they found it when they went in to the stomache for the surgery

Thanks Teachamy i am praying it doesn't get to that point but that sounds like the best option right now.

Same exact thing happened 2 me at my 2 week follow up last week the doc said surgery went perfect the only thing was that when he went in they saw the bacteria and the part of my stomache that was removed was sent to lab and was positive for the H. Pylori i was put on the 14 days antibiotics the amoxicillan y can do no problem but the other 1 OMGGGGG never in my life have i had to take such discusting medication to top it off its a HUGE Tablet so i have to cut it 2 be able to swallow it i asked for liquids but they said it wasn't possible =( i still have 9 more days 2 go on the meds but i have the worst strep throat i've ever had and can't swallow not even Water never mind the big discusting tablet i am hopeing it won't screw up the process i'll die if i have 2 take them again YUK!!!
