  1. A support system would be great.
  2. I'm feeling a little insecure with my own surgery currently because I've had such a good experience. I just feel like I have a lot of questions. when does the weight start coming off? Will I have loose skin? If so, what is the remedy to that...more surgery? I'm also terrified of losing my hair. With all of these things to come I am still confident in my decision to do the surgery. It will make me more confident and foremost ill be healthier. Any advice? Anyone going through the same thought process? Let me know.
  3. Just talk my doctor. Turns out I'm not having enough Protein so I just upped my intake. Liquid fork of anything is disgusting, but I'm learning to tolerate it. I also think it is normal to have to many questions. I'm just ready for then to be answered. And thanks! I really think I might go for it. Only shoulder length though.
  4. Well I can truly only drink an ounce or two of the protein shake. I make 8 ounces every morning and try to finish it by the time I go to bed. But as for vitamin pills, no. I am only doing liquid vitamins or dissolvable. They are not great, but that's probably a given.
  5. Vitamins is another huge thing for me. The liquid multivitamin i am taking is gross. My best to date liquid concoction is strawberry whey protein, liquid calcium, and vanilla almond milk. It's delicious and really satisfying since it incorporates both protein and calcium. Unfortunately, I don't have super thick hair to start with, so I'm already considering chopping it off so I won't have to witness its thinning.
  6. I've come to terms that I am very lucky to have had the doctor I had and his staff as well. I'm very sorry to hear about your initial experience. Hopefully, once you get over any soreness and pain you'll feel more comfort. One thing I noticed that helped me feel more comfortable while i was sore( comfort is a HUGE thing for me) is a certain seated position. Laid a little back. And feet propped up. I seat in an oversized chair all day in that exact position and it allows me to work my abdomen "enough". The up and down isn't extreme but it gets you moving around enough to work past the soreness.
